News as of July 5, 2007
- Randolph and Dan Dickau of the Blazers are traded to the Knicks in exchange for Channing Frye and Steve Francis.
- The Bobcats trade the rights to Brandan Wright plus cash for the Warriors Jason Richardson.
- Ray Allen goes to Boston in exchange for Delonte West and Jeff Green (5th overall draft selection).
- Grant Hill is supposed to sign a minimum vet deal with the Phoenix Suns.
- Rashard Lewis supposedly agrees to a $75 million, 5-year deal with the Orlando Magic, who then release Milicic because of cap issues, he is now a free agent.
- Jason Kapono (former Heat, 3-point shootout champ) signs with the Toronto Raptors.
- Nocioni is reportedly offered big money to come to the Grizzlies.
- Billups and Detroit are working things out.

keynon i really hate kobe, so i would like to see him stay on the lakers, i dont want him to ruin a team I agree he's best with LA. I dont think they'll reach the playoffs in their current roster though, specially with the tough West.

western conference overall is a stronger conf than the east. kobe may be a 1 man team, but he can't win games & make it 2 the playoffz by himself.

I agree with y'all, Kobe would not leave the Lakers and he cant win by himself.
I think he should make some sacrifices at his part, encourage his teammates to shoot more, and pass more if he wants to get past the first round.
