Okay, as SG-1 fans, just about everybody knows this episode and I'd wager that about half of the show's long-time fans call it their favorite. What I want to know is what each person loves and enjoys most about this one. We all have our bits, and with an episode like this there are many to choose from. So, my friends, dare I say it, "What do you think?" whee

The Sam/Jack kiss for me was a little expected. It was cool and all, but not the best bit. The best bits were playing golf through the Stargate, juggling, teaching Daniel the language, riding a bike through the SGC, and, of course, the wacko plate.
Jack: I'm telling you, Teal'c, if we don't find a way out of this soon, I'm going to lose it. [Teal'c raises an eyebrow.] Jack: Lose it. It means go crazy. Nuts. Insane. Bonzo. No longer in possession of one's faculties. Three fries short of a happy meal... [Jack holds up his plate, which now has a crazed smiley face on it] WACKO!

Also the door-opening joke. How Teal'c kept having a door open on him every single loop.

And the one time, just the one time, he crushed the guy behind it,
Ah, and Daniel being run over again and again. And Jack saving him.
Such a good episode.

Among the most well-written, I'll say. 3nodding

It was very well-written. Because such good use was made of Jack's character, of course. The way they played him off Teal'c and Daniel was just brilliant.
You know they apparently modelled the character on Richard Dean Anderson himself? Not at the start, obviously, but by around the third/fourth season onward. Cool, huh?

Makes me really want to talk to him. I'd probably embarass myself a lot, though. sweatdrop

As would I. I'd just sit and stare. And probably giggle. I mean, what could you say to him? Nothing, thats what!

I'd probably be silent until he made some comment about it. Then I'd speak, and the conversation would begin from there. I'm just afraid that something would come out wrong over the course of it.

Actually, as per what we were talking about in another forum, you could ask why the ending of the last season was so crap. Or why he bothered to "retire" when he was in half the episodes anyway.
