1; Please don't post in my journal without permission. I do like gifts, but I would rather you sent them to me via PM, so my mini quest posts aren't disturbed. ^^;
2; Please don't steal my concept. Ruri worked on this, and is still proud of it; I changed it to my liking, but still kept it as Ruri's design. Loki is an exorcist, and will STAY an exorcist. If you have a problem with this, please PM me NICELY. I do not react well to yelling, capslock, and accusations. Thank you. x:

[ 07/28/05; SOLO ] Loki enters Kanth's home.
[ 08/13/05; PRP ] Loki meets Paestri, and is intrigued to the point where he thinks of her often, and no other Legend has gotten under his skin this way.
[ 08/20/05; SOLO ] Loki receives a gift from an unknown recipient; a staff to hold his lantern. Very intriguing, and much better to hold on to.
[ 09/01/05; SOLO ] Evil spirit known as the Soul Stealer arrives. Takes possession of Kanth's body, and sucked out her soul, in a sense.
[ 9/22/05; PRP ] Important battle against an 'in between' necromancer, who hasn't been sent. Isn't alive, but isn't quite dead, either.
[ 11/19/05; SOLO ] Loki receives heavenly powers to fight against the beast who is known as the Soul Stealer; achieved is a book in which a record of exorcists are labeled, where rituals and spells for exorcists to use against spirits are written within.
[ 11/21/05; SOLO ] Loki fights against the Soul Stealer in a second battle, this time for not just his life, but for Kanth's, as well...
[ 12/17/05; SOLO ] A spiritual 'spider' finds its way near Loki's lamp, and becomes his 'familiar'.
[ 12/18/05; ORP ] Invitation.
[ 12/19/05; SOLO ] Loki treads to an arctic winter-place, feeling like he had a job to do.
[ 01/03/06; SOLO ] Where Loki is LOST in the arctic winter-place.
[ 01/04/06; SOLO ] A fateful meeting with an old woman, and Loki is sent on his way with a full stomach, as well as herbs in a rather intriguing bag.

A book received in the Church, to help defeat the Soul Stealer. Usable for other things as well, though helps Loki a lot through his life/growing. It somehow resembles Chandra's book, in a sort of opposite way... (Made by Kamtrouble, thank you SO much!!! <3)

Oh, how each and every moment mattered.
Flames erupted from the crumpling hunk of wood which now clumped over the spot where a very close family once lived. They spent a good seven years together, enjoying every second of their beautiful lives together; they lived such a simple existence, pleased by the easiest of things, as if life itself made them so joyous. God, how the moments counted when his parents sunk into the flames, never to be found again but as a decrepid shell of what they once were... but how the vision of his twin sister hurt the most.
Lola. She was a darling girl, identical to her brother but with a slight feminity that seemed so innocent... the fruits of life had just bloomed on her tree, plucked senselessly from the branches. Her body, it was intact, which might have hurt the most. Her dainty summer dress curled and singed, the threads deranged and twisted from the licking embers... her hair, luscious curls, pulled and burnt, those dainty, flawless cheeks just barely covered in the faintest spot of soot. Her eyes, usually a phantomesque sort of lilac, were dimmed and lifeless. How it hurt to see his spitting image so... destroyed. Fallen.
And so began a day of mourning. The paramedics tried to pry the defunct; no, sleeping girl from Loki's arms, but they could not, for his grip was all too tight, possesive. He wept, for hours which grew to days, to weeks to months. A full year following the death of his family, shedding one last tear, the boy, now eight, stood from that dilapidated mass that he had not left since the day of the burning, and walked with a soldier's eye to the cemetary. He buried her himself, by his own hand, choosing not to use a manmade tool or something sick like that. This was her grave, her final tie to life, and he would make it so perfect.
After hours of relentless digging and plowing, the rectangular hole was now complete. It seemed to fit her perfectly, even without a casket. After placing her in this chasm, withdrawing his hand, he stared down at the pale-white form. Unable to resist the want to be by his sister's side once more, he gave a final, fond brush to her cheek. How cold it was; lifeless, death had taken her. He'd have his revenge... Death would not keep this girl forever.
From then on, for roughly two more years, Loki plagued the town with his mischievous nature, being an utter nuisance. He did not mind, though, for his ability to love and care had been long lost with dear Lola. And so he spent his years, from the ages of eight to ten, ruining the town and bursting all bonds and trusts anyone ever had for him.
Life grew increasingly lonely by the day, each week growing longer and more painful than the last. His loss was great but he never had the gut to admit that he did indeed miss his family... not as if anyone would listen. His words fell on deaf ears every time he spoke, so he found it worthless to try. With but a day's more of thinking, the boy located spool and needle, threading the eye with a powerful stitch and knot. Pocketing this roll of some indescribably tough wire, he took a trip to the lovingly dug grave of his dear sister. Kneeling to the ground, he held back tears and unravelled the spool, placing the head of the needle against his lip.
It took but a few moments for him to make that final choice. Exhaling deeply, he punctured his lower lip and made not a sound as he did so, simply winced and braced for the following pierce. And so it went, stitch, knot, stitch, knot, until seven thin wires made their way across his pallid lips. Sewn shut, not another word was to pass through him, not a thought, nor idea, spoken. For eternity, or as long as this life were to last.
As it turns out, he was not to live much longer anyway...

Bodyshot; Loki's original concept, created by Ruri. There are details that she specifically put into him in the beginning: small wings, goggles, shorts, boots, belts, and his sister. I changed a few of these as the circumstances called for it, but they will make sense in the long run. Only time... will tell.

Known;
 The necromancer who had helped him in discovering his own book, as well as defeating the Soul Stealer and locked him up in his lantern. He still has yet to properly thank her.
 A former... love? I'm unsure about their relationship, but Loki doesn't seem to miss her, much. He enjoys his freedom, and doesn't like to be hindered. I get the feeling that it had something to do with marriage...
 Loki found out his past from Dare, who showed him his file. He wasn't quite happy with his past, and hasn't seen Dare since.
 I'm not altogether positive on Loki's encounter with Gyre, as I didn't receive him when he was a baby, but I heard it was akin to biting... o3o;
 Meeting Paestri was an extraordinary experience for Loki; he felt drawn to her, especially after her tasting him. He found out he tasted something like sadness, which opened his eyes a little, but as for how much remains unseen.

major changes (to loki);
12.17.05 A spider is recovered, which eventually turns into a sort of rat-creature the more it hangs out with Loki as his familiar. Not much is known about the familiar as of yet, but it cetainly does seem to have a purpose. No name is given at this current point.
9.01.05 Loki fights against a spiritual soul stealer, and former exorcist; the outcome of the battle was in his favor, with the minor help of Chandra, and he succeeded in gaining stronger spirituality, as well as new items.

Loki was originally designed by Ruri, but was given to me for the safekeeping and roleplaying of, for many various reasons.
Her old journal lies heirin. I may not match her in wit and writing, but I do try my hardest. After all, one is only great if they practice, practice, practice.

Legends are copyright to Cheshire and Xaria, and WILL be respected in that manner. No begging, no stealing, no filching, even of Loki's babies.
