((uh, I dont know if I get to create new areas... I'm just trying to continue the story that Takara started...but it's not in any of the places already created... Just delete this if you want us to stay in the areas you made...))

*Hikari slowly regained conciousness. The initial blow had overcome her senses, but her injury was already healing, thanks to her demon blood. She got up gingerly and applied a simple healing spell. It would take a little while to fully heal, but she didn't feel she had the time for a stronger one. She had to find Takara, who had seemed confused and acting very strange. She honed into the energy imprint and headed off. She found her by a small pool*

Takara, are you okay? Tochi has taken care of those men, so at least for now anyway, you are not in danger. May I ask what they wanted with you?

*Hikari noticed that Takara did not respond to her right away. She knelt down and saw her eyes...they looked hollow and distant. She could tell something was wrong with her.*

*As Hikari stood there, Takara jumped up and took a defensive pose. Hikari jumped back and landed a few feet away, ready to guard against the katana pointed at her. She was ready with her mage shield if she needed it, but since Takara didn't seem to be herself, she didn't want to alarm her any further by her own defensive actions.*

Takara! Snap out of it! You know me, I'm your friend and comrade, Hikari! Those men did something to you didn't they??

*Hikari saw that Takara did not accept what she was saying.. She shook her head and kept her katana raised*

You are at the Pagoda! We both live here! We went on a journey together not long ago to help Travis! Do you not remember any of this? WHO WERE THOSE MEN?

*Takara was obviously, even if unconciously, fighting whatever spell was upon her but it was recking havoc with her senses. To lose your identity, or have it stolen from you, is a terrible torture, even if you are not aware of it...*

Takara......Is that my name? It sounds familiar...*memory of her younger self, running from hunters*....this girl, Hikari.... *a more recent memory flitted across her mind. She saw herself and Hikari speaking to a blond guy and his black-haird companion* Is this another memory? That is Hikari and that must be Travis, but who is that other one? I know him, he was also in that clearing fighting Yoshi........His name......Tochi *flashback of her and Tochi sitting by the lake and then of her riding through the forest before being lured into the clearing*

"I remember now.....Those two men.....were demons sent by....my clan.......I remember....."

*Hikari winced at the pain in her side, but she was no longer bleeding at least*

Sure, but we might have to set a slower pace...I am not up to my usual strength. There is only a simple healing spell in place, it will take another hour or so to fully heal.

*Hikari picked up Takara's katana where she dropped it after she passed out. As they headed back, she admired the beautiful craftsmanship of the blade.*

Tochi waited for his brother to find him. He came with two others. He recognised the other two as the twins, both almost as good as Tochi was.
"It's been awhile, Neko-sama."
His brother looked harshly at him. "I should kill you!!"

Tochi smiled and dropped from the tree. "Than do it. But remember, she came to kill me. you would have done the same." one Kuni was away and he had out Ceres and Koge. The knife flew into the tree and stuck a sneaking shadow in the heart. He used the distraction to thrust Ceres in his brothers face, but was blocked by the twins katanas. Suddenly he was on the defencive, whirling his blades around him in a blur of parries. he thrust out ceres to the side and brought it up, sliceing a leg. But he had made a mistake, he left his back open.
A giant golden dog appeared and ripped out the second twin's throught.
Tochi blocked his brother's Tachi, the sword was a full foot longer than a regular Katana. It was weilded in just one hand. Tochi sent it flying and his brother drew his two Katanas.

"I guess it's just you and me Neko-sama."

While the two brothers battled, the only sound made was the faint ring of steel on steel.
Tochi Realised that he would never hed into his brother's guard without reach. he jumped back longenough to chuck Koge and he drew out Oni.
His brother blocked the kodachi and stopped as he saw Oni drawn from it's sheath. "You plan to use the Hell sword against your own brother?"

"Only if you make me."
The two stood there, waiting for the other to move.

Lux considered the situation. She knew one of the Shadows was Tochi's bother; it seemed that the man Tochi was battling was him.

*Do you think you could take me to where you are? I agree with you, but I'd like to see the fight,* Lux said to Xitha.

Shinta ran towards the sounds of battle. Looking towards Tochi's brother he said, "Yamato-san, this one challenges you. No man should have to fight his brother."

Looking back at Tochi he added, 'With all due respect Tochi-san, this man also owes me blood going back seven years."
