A few days ago... I sat on the the bell of my trumpet. I sat on it pretty hard too..noticing that the bell was bent inward. And a couple years ago, I was playing around with my trumpet by spinning it while putting only one finger through the ring finger loop. YEAH. Bad idea. crying
But my trumpet's back now, and as shiny as can be!
Ever done something like this before with your instrument? ..Please share!

I haven't broken my flute. But my friend dropped her Baritone out the window[first floor]. It didn't break too badly. The horn got all dented but it still plays fine. It was pretty funny actually.

One time I couldn't play a single note on my flute because the keys were leaking. I had no idea that it happened, and I couldn't play for the whole week.

We played a mass and I set my tenor sax down. Well when I came back someone had stepped on it and the octave key was jammed Dx My trumpet make suicide jumps to the floor all the time

Not really...just small screws on my clarinet getting loose and falling out, which caused it to fall apart...

The thumb-joint-thing on my clarinet mysteriously came off, and the wood-stuff around it was all shredded and stuff, I don't know how that happened.

One time I got into a fight with on of our percusion players and we got into it pretty bad. I ended up hitting him in the head with my clarinet it snapped the bell in half. He hit me with a drumstick in the eye though.

I've broke my clarinet once. One of the keys wouldn't play. And there was something in it at so it made a weird sound.

Erm...I've stepped on a clarinet. One that WASN'T mine. It was horrible! I don't even play it! I've also dropped my baritone twice in one day, but that was a long time ago. Other than that, it's nothing other than bassoon pads falling off.

I've never broken my trumpet before we gave it back to the music store. And I never broke any of the schools instruments.
