Just got to the comic recently. gonk Gra--! I was down in Alaska for a while, so I guess I missed it. But I'm back. Well, I gotta say I really like it.
However.
Quick, turn around so you can look down at your own shadow. Now, get a flashlight. Turn the flashlight on, and point it at your own shadow. The light goes over the shadow, and overlaps it. Or Light > shadow/darkness/whatever name you give it. Shadows isn't the result of light, it's the absense of it. Light gets rid of shadows.

Didn't really like the example but it kind of gets to the point.

But when the light goes away, the shadow comes back. Light doesn't destroy shadows permanently. So it sort of makes sense.

In a sense, However, when shining the flashlight over your own shadow, look closely at the new shadow that is formed. If the main light is behind you, making your shadow in front of you, and you shine a flashlight on your shadow, you're creating a new light source, look closly behind you now, your flashlight will created a new shadow smaller lighter shadow behind you. Multiple lights breed multiple shadows.

Multiple lights breed multiple shadows. As I understood it, that was the reason the light attacks were just causing him to shift position, instead of destroying him. Now, one could probably eliminate all shadows in a room using light, but they're need a unique set up to shine it everywhere at once, and it'd probably have to be fairly intense. The end result..? All the shadows *would* be gone, but no one in that room would be able to see a dang thing. So yeah, it's understandable that light and shadows go together. .... So, any guesses why it's been so long since the last comic? sweatdrop
