Although this article was not so informative about the Bird Flu in itself, it was very interesting to read about all the places in Europe that have had problems with the Bird Flu. Now that it was found in Germany, many people believe that since a couple of swans were found dead in France near the border of Germany, the virus may head deeper into the neighboring country and infect those people as well.
Do you think it will ever reach across seas, to the U.S., Canada, S. America, etc.?
If so, will we be prepared?
Will we have enough medical supllies to handle a proposed epidemic?
Will we be able to stay ahead of the virus?
I am looking at it from the U.S., where I live, but others may look at it from their point of view if they live in other countries. In that case:
If you live in a country that has seen the virus in action, are you prepared for a proposed epidemic?
Do you think the virus will even grow into an epidemic?
If it has been seen in your country already, how are you guys handling it there?
You know things like that!
