GUILD GROUPS

I don't want to wait forever to get this started because it'll be harder to integrate new members so I need opinions on how it should be run (particularly by the crew)

Heres what I've got outlines thus far. If you have any ideas, suggestions, &/or reccomendations PLEASE let me know ASAP.

1. Members of the crew will be in charge of their own Group. By being in the crew you have the option of being a house leader. You also get to pick your vice-leader.

2. Because I'm not in a particularly creative mood you get to name your own group. I trust your judgement

3. Eventually we'll have a sorting sort of test or application process (tell me which sounds better) that will help decide which group people are put in. Each group will have their own forum.

4. Each group can have their own mini contests etc etc.

5. We can have group competitions

6. YOUR IDEA COULD BE HERE

Please post in the following format (for first post)

1. How many guild groups you think there should be

2. Why ^

3. Should we have a sorting sort of test or an application? (An example of an application would be:
Hi I'm MJ. I want to be in the "team awesome" group because I am the most amazing person in the world. I feel that I .... bla bla bla bla bla..... MJ ROCKS!" only we hope they wouldn't be quite that conceded. The sorting would be Harry Potter-esque

4. Any additional ideas you think we should add in

5. Opinions/concerns go here

6. Anything else that doesn't fit in the above categories

I think maybe four or five groups at MAX.

Too many is a pain. Plus there are so few members of the guild it wold poorly balance.

I think sorting would be more fun than applications. Though either would work. Sorting just allows for the element of surprise though.

Depends on how many people in the guild, prehaps? The amount of people depends on the maximum amount. Or when one group hits a certain amount of people, you make another one or another few. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

In case you want to make more groups, or something. You decide, it is your guild.

Application sounds better, what if they made a request to join with no application, if they've posted before this could be an option. Maybe an application will grant them a greater chance of joining that group if there is going to be a maximum amount of people in them.

What about some member owned and operated groups? Or has that been mentioned some where else?

Maybe the members could vote for the leaders, and the crew keep watch of the ones they either are assigned to or choose to monitor/watch, just to make sure things are going alright, look for areas where things could be improved and whatnot.

Maybe you could call them ships?
