Camlan watched Edan make a quick exit behind Maki. He could understand the girl's nervousness; it was like the others were simply falling from the sky. Grabbing another fruit, the Amaran simply bowed and practically ran from the group.

Making his way to the Courtyard, Camlan saw Edan and waved to him, fruit still in hand. There was a nice breeze which ruffled his fur as he walked over to the boy. Shying away from the others who wandered the area, Camlan sat down and made himself comfortable.

Before biting into his fruit, he looked up at Edan and spoke softly. "So how do we perform this lesson?"

The boy was enjoying the fresh air, enough that he wasn't even really bothered to see the big native bugs buzzing around here and there -though seeing Jin chase after the few that flew near them still brought a laugh to his lips. The breeze that skittered through the courtyard played in his hair and ruffled his attire, but it felt nice and he made no move to resettle his clothing or flaming locks. So what if he looked messy because of it, it was refreshing.

Emerald eyes lifted to the other boy when Camlan waved to him, the smile of greeting back on his features as he walked over to were he'd chosen to sit. The human sat across from him, the droid bobbing low around them as he watched their conversation and actions. "The Masters said we had to work together to access the Force so... I guess, we reach out to it again like before, but together? I'm not really sure, they weren't very specific, were they?" A sudden wave of unease settled over the boy as he thought more on the assignment, twitching his lips side to side as he tried to solve the problem mentally. It was definately a confusing situation, that much he was sure of. But maybe that was all they had to do, just reach out again but this time with other lifeforms around them. If what the Masters' said was true, having others around them would definitely make things different in how they felt the Force than when they were alone. So maybe that was the point of the whole thing?

Camlan watched the strange bugs flitter around as the other boy came to him. He turned his head and listened to the boy speak to him. Nodding in agreement, his eyes never left Edan as he sat down across from him.

He placed his hands on his knees and looked away, trying to think and gather his thoughts. The Masters were not specific at all on how to cooperate with a partner to gather the Force. Camlan had had a rather difficult time accessing the Force on his own, how was he supposed to do it with another?

"I think... Maybe we both think about the Force? And if we think hard enough, maybe it will come to us?"

To him it sounded almost simple and silly but anything was worth a try, right?

Edan nodded his head as the other spoke, listening whilst also trying to understand the situation. Both plans sounded about the same, so the boy assumed -okay, prayed- they were on the right track.

"Yeah, we could try that. It couldn't hurt to try, right? Maybe we'll get lucky!" Although his grin was genuine, he couldn't help but wonder momentarily just how many ways something could go wrong as he was about to question.

He shuffled about where he sat for a moment, crossing his legs comfortably as he'd done before when he'd tapped into the Force. He recalled what he'd been thinking of when he'd done it, though while he still wasn't exactly sure how it all worked, the simple assumption time would explain that settled him enough.

A thought struck, however, and he blinked towards Camlan a moment before venturing, "I don't mean to be rude, so pardon me for asking but, how did you do for the last assignment? I mean, I know it took me a while to get it, so I'm not sure if that's going to affect anything or..." he trailed off, unsure of even his own question at that point. "Sorry, I guess I'm not making much sense, am I?"

Camlan watched as Edan adjusted himself and chattered on a for a minute. He was talking about the last assignment... The one that Camlan had barely managed to pass. Or maybe he had passed with flying colors?

Camlan blinked his large golden eyes and pondered that thought for a moment.

"Well... I just was really quite for a long time and then," the Amaran thought about how to word what he was about to say next. "It felt all fuzzy and warm and golden..."

He picked a handful of grass and watched it fall slowly to the ground. "But then I got excited and it all went away."

He wished he had his blocks to play with... He now knew that it was the Force which made his stick figures dance. And the Force helped him build and do stuff with the blocks. Perhaps, Camlan would run and get his toys if this didn't work.

Nodding once more to the words, the human smiled openly. "Sounds similar to what happened with me. So, I guess we did it right," his laughing grin was an honest sign of relief on both their parts. In all honesty, hearing his experience was so a like another's, it made him feel simply that much better. At least he knew he wasn't on the wrong path. Or something.

"So I guess... we should just do that again. Shouldn't be too hard, right?"

Fully settled, the ten year-old placed his hands on his knees lightly and rolled his shoulders to kick out the few remaining nerves and knots he felt lingering to his mind. Once more he pictured the brilliant night sky over his home, once more drifting through the endless lights and silent expanse. Just like before, he felt the warmth slip around him and through him, though just like before he felt hesitant in reaching out to it. Not that he new if he should, especially if he was to be doing this with someone else...

That's when it hit him. Or rather, he sensed it, but still, point was, there was a change now. It felt like waves, waves of wind and warmth that filtered through and around other beings moving around. Although he couldn't tell the difference between one "wave" or another, but he could feel everything. More or less, anyways. Was this the point of doing this exercise with another?
