Just curious, what kind of stories do you like to read about Fruits Basket, in terms of fanfiction. Do you guys prefer angst, to fluff, or romance? I'm writing a fanfiction at the moment, and it has a lot to do with angst, though I'm trying to put some romance into it, and I just need feedback on what people are looking for in fanfiction.

I admit that I like angst as well, because . . . well . . . I like reading how people overcome odds to get to where they are now. And somehow, those who write angst tend to write better than some of the fanfiction writers out there, and I like reading well-written stories, not those that are full of dialog and no discription. Some of them appear to have taken fifteen minutes to write, not three days, which is normally how long I take to finish a chapter.

What really drew me to Furuba was that the Sohma's all had some kind of emotional burden and they eventually overcame it.

my friend introduced me to fruits basket. she found the 4th disk and that was all she had so she let me watch it and i was so curious as to see what the whole story was about that i went and bought the series the next chance i got and then started collecting the manga when i found out they existed. yay. it has made my life interesting.
