I just got back from the mall. I don't think I have ever been so scared in my whole life. Seriously. It was the skin heads.
They were all over. Seiously, at every opening to the mall, they were there. They were following us. We went to Borders and started reading some really cool mangas, then I looked up, and saw them staring at us from the cd racks. We went outside (very bad idea), and there was some staring right at us from the other side of the walkway.
We were being stalked.
I was so scared. I just wanted for someone to pick me up, and take me home. But all who was there, was Siobhan. So no one was there to save us. We just kept having to dodge the skin head stalkers.
I've never felt so alone and helpless in my life.
Were they following us because we were just two girls? (They were all guys) Or is that just what they do?
I'm so lost, please help me.

Its not only skin heads and construction workers though. There are: -creepy old old old guys -perverted guys from school -Weird hispanic guys who whistle (i'm hispanic too, so I'm not trying to be racist) -Random guys who think they are funny by saying perverted things to you -Fat guys who sit on their asses all day, decide to walk to blockbuster to get a porno, see you walking to the grocery store to buy milk, and start hounding at you like a dog. -and other guys i'm to lazy to think of. Why do they find us as just some object they can play with? Its so rude, and annoying! I wish they would just act like gentlemen...

ooh not all skinheads are like that. but thats really creepy.... i was taking the subway once and there were these weird guys who were staring at me and s**t but i think sometimes the best thing to do in situations like that is scare people away. which i successfully did. heh. but im really sorry that you felt like that you know i dont think boys understand that feeling in this society anyway because i dont know of many girls who stare at guys like theyre mentally undressing them but i know of guys who do that. or maybe thats just new york.

Around here we dont have skinheads we have natives, all kinds, the ones who dont think about it and act as normal nice people, the older ones that get drunk everyday/night in the park next to the mall, the ones who walk around the mall giving people rude looks, the ones who seem to think that they are black and are into the whole G-Unit thing and the average prep native girl. What they seem to hate the most for some reason is goths, and I wear almost complete black so they always yell rude things to me for it.
I wish we had skinheads around here, I know a few from out of town there is a huge majority of them who are awesome people, sure any skinhead would fight you but alltogether probly a good person, a good drunken person, but all the same nice.

I agree with you, it is somewhat of a double standard. But I think the difference is that there are the cases when your being eyed and it can make you feel unconfortable. There are the cases that make you feel flattered. And then there are the cases that make you scared. I'm really paranoid when I walk home at night in the dark. I live on a military base. There are hundreds of guys living in the dorms which are just scattered randomly around the base. And there isn't a day that goes by when an underage girl isn't found in the dorms. Whether she wanted to be there or not, I don't know. But it's still scary. Some of my friends have the traditional looks, all the boys like them, they wear the hip clothes from Garage. I'm more of the ugly duckling of the group xp But anyhow, they hate walking home from the local arena-gym-pool-thing at night cause they have to walk by the dorms. Guys try to pick them up, they get told they have nice 'racks'. By men who are probably around 20-25. These are 14 year old girls. They don't take as flattering either, they get ******** scared. But really it's the kind of thing that can happen to anyone, not just the hip kids. I think thats why there is this double standard, men can intimidate and scare a women easier then vice versa.

pussylips i thought this thread was about the band FEAR I love Fear! but on my fears...i'm afraid of the dark. Seriously. Well if I'm outside and in the dark. My cousin's are skinheads but I don't think they are the creepy kind. I think it's just the "cool" thing to do in Kansas? But I could be wrong, they might be creepy, I don't talk to them much.

LOL I do it all the time and if I think a guy is hot I follow him and say something like what is your name?? or do you not have one or what? I mean Ihave been following you for like an hour I thought I needed to make some progress than just stare at you.

I must apologies for all the males. I don't think that we mean to affend you when we stare, it's just that we're to stupid to realize it affends you. I've always tried my hardest not to stare or make rude comments and I especially try to look up when I talk to a girl. Sometimes my eyes do wander but I mean no affence. I think it's hilarious when a guy's staring at a girls chest and she says "I'm up here". With the whole stalking thing, that is scary. It's odd. When a girl is being followed by guy's it's scary but when a guy is being stalked by girls it's an achivement.
