 A dark brown mare with black painted spots sat contently underneath a tree staring out at the endless plains. Or from her perspective they seemed to. It was fairly hot out and the dark mare was clearly bored. Her curly obsidian-white tipped mane fell over her dark brown face. Amber eyes continued to stare blankly at the landscape before her.
At least her family wasn't anywhere nearby. They where always happy go lucky it drove Zillah insane. She snorted and looked around again. How bland... This place was boring.
Zillah stood and decided to go get some water out of boredom. Her long curly tail flew behind her as she walked.

Flame was, as per the usual. Stumped.
Gully was looking at him piteously, one white paw hopelessly twisted after a stupidly stupid misstep into a stupidly stupid hole. A rabbit hole nonetheless.
Flame could almost hear the seconds ticking away in his mind as he stared at his friend dubiously.
Finally;
"Gully, how do you DO something like that?"
The bear's response was to be expected, but managed to surprise him anyway.
"It jumped up at me."

Zillah continued toward the stream and noted a pair, an od one at that. A bear and a soquili? Thats a Laugh. Oh look it twisted it's ankle. Stupid thing should watch where it's going. Zillah continued past them whithout a second thought. the dark mare just continued walking pretending to be oblivious.
Hopefully he wouldn't take notice of her and she could continue on in peace. Zillah tossed her curly mane out of her face again. Curses! It was bothersome.

Flame hadn't grown into adulthood by failing to note the unconcealed presence of another in his vicinity; likewise he had also learned to leave well enough alone unless he himself was approached.
Then there was the matter of the bear. Dammit all anyway.
"Gully, are you expecting me to carry you? I'll have you know I won't appreciate it one bit if it turns out that sprain is minor when compared to your hunger as you leap into berry bushes off my back." He paused, wondering if he had spoken to quickly, Gully was known to blame many a misadventure on 'bad hearing' and 'jumbled instructions.'
Also noting the passing female, Gully pouted up at his companion and whined loud enough so she could hear.
"You wouldn't be accusing me of lying in front of a lady would you Flame? That's just not a gentlemanly thing to do..."

Zillah continued away, She didn't care abou the stupid bear. They could fend for themselves. Zillah would rather see them fleeing from a pack of hungry wolves. The only response she gave was a flick of her curly tail. I hope they rot. Was her silent thought as she began to hear a stream nearby.

(( Eh.. alrighty then... They'll just be on their way. Crousader may have been a better choice to RP with. Lol ))
Flames eyes darkened in response to Gully's underhanded comment, but after a moment he sighed.
"I'm not calling you anything Gully, just climb on so we can go home. I expect Blais and Crousader think we have fallen into a wolf den by now." he said tiredly, levering himself down so the bear could scramble on his back. "Watch those claws, and remember what I said about leaping!"
I'm not as young as I used to be... Was the unspoken ending, but Flame let it fall away unsaid as he stood. Gully wisely kept silent; taking care to lay only the pads of his feet against his friend's wide back.
"By the way, when we cross that stream, if it reaches my back you'll have to swim." the stallion of fire added, letting a bit of his earlier humor creep back into his voice.
