"Si Dieu nous a fait à son image, nous le lui avons bien rendu." -Voltaire.
It translates to "If God has made us in his image, we have returned him the favor."
Aquénandi: Saj na unaš šam estamirdi estamja, la cotoj šim facamja.

o.o This'll be hard considering that the culture does not believe in higher beings...
ukūntūk gi^ nemen '"God"-kūntūk-pa^intunmek'. Mikaktū nemen.
All people look like '"God"-the-person-creator', favor returned.

Brazilian Portuguese (cult norm):
Se Deus nos fez à sua imagem, lhe retribuímos o favor.
X-SAMPA (in my dialect)
/si 'deus nuz 'feiS 'a 'sua i'mAge_~i_~, 'Li retribu'imus u fa'vo/
Common Brazilian Portuguese
Se Deus fez a gente à imagem dele, a gente retornou o favor.
X-SAMPA (IMD again)
/si 'deus 'feiS 'a 'ge_~ti 'a i'mAge_~i_~ 'deli, 'a 'ge_~ti retor'no u fa'vo/
Just to show y'all an example of Portuguese diglossia. Syntax is completely different, while certain verbs are no longer used on common Portuguese.

Cni ULU'INIB yi'i-ya ulu'anwini, ya-yi'i micna'en cbeci, ya-yi'i recu'i ji de ya.
Lit: If the first person we he created, he we image current, he we returned good of he.
Less lit, but still lit: If God to us he created, to him we are imaging, to him we returned the good of him.
If God created us in his image, we have returened the favor.
Wow. That changed a lot from it's literal meaning to it;s actual meaning. o-o
ULU'INIB, means the first person. Only people of extreme signiigance are capitilized like that.
If you wanted to say "creator" you'd say ulu'anwinenebb, literaly, "one who worlds." xD
