Finally, HQ was in sight. Setsumi paused just at the porch of said building, now blanketed under a cool night sky. Ears pinned back in the direction she had just come from. All her eagerness to leave her troubles behind was dwindling from her being. In an effort to rid passed pains, she feared she had given birth to a new one. With the way her feathered son had acted... Would it be right for her to actually leave now? Would such an action make her fear a reality? Torn, she pushed open the door to find Edward.

Not long after Lilianna had left, Edward was trotting down the hall of the HQ, looking for Setsumi. His uneven steps audible as he approached, just as Setsumi entered through the doot. It didn't take long for Ed to notice her, and he picked up the pace and was soon standing before his adoptive mother.
There was something different about him. No longer was Edward downtrodden in his loss of Lilianna. Eyes bright and his step springy again. "Hey" he called out, tails wagging slightly, "I was looking for you."

Well, that didn't take long at all. Setsumi closed the door behind her, head tilting to the boy. Now, what had happened in such time? "My, you seem cheery. Did I miss something?" Not even a day later, and his mood had down a complete spin. She gave him a confused smile as she sat back, waiting for some answer. The only thing she could think that would make him glow so was a certain red kitsu.

Sitting back on his haunches infront of Setsumi, Ed lifted a paw to scratch the back of his at her question, "Eh..." If she thinks she's confused, she should have seen him earlier. He pondered his wordering for a moment or two, but decided to just blurt it out, his expression becoming a little more serious.
"Lilianna changed her mind..." he said softly, giving her a somewhat uncertain smile. It was hard to know exactly how to feel about it. He was happy... but he was also somewhat confused and discontent with how it had all come about in the end. "I... asked her to come with us. She'll be meeting us infront of the HQ when she's ready. That's okay, isn't it?"

Her mind went on shut down for a moment, and she simply stared as she rebooted it. Who did what? After all that had happened...
Setsumi raised a brow in concern. "And...this was the real Lily this time. Right?" To say she was stunned was an understatement. Everything had seemed so...final not moments earlier. But here Ed stood, looking as if the sun had risen after days of darkness. "I..well..." She tried to catch up on this inverted situation. If it was all honestly happening, then she would be thrilled for Ed. As for now, she was still getting over the rush of it all. "Of course she can come."

Edward gave Setsumi a look... one that suggested he knew what she was thinking and feeling. For he'd reacted similarly when Lilianna had informed him, although the shock had been a bit more intense for him. Like his brain had to completely change directions in its ways of thinking, which took more than a few moments to do. It was something that had been totally unexpected.
When she asked if it had been the real Lily... Ed's eyes darkened for a moment as he recalled that day by the lake. But that vanished again when permission was given for Lily to come with them. "Great!" and a grin appeared once more. "She just needs to inform her family and get ready."

Setsumi nodded numbly, a smile flitting to her face. "Well, that is a pleasant change of events. Surely unexpected." She wondered what brought anout the change. But like she had said, Lily had a difficult time managing emotions, especially when it concerned others so deeply. Front paws stretched forward slowly, till it forced her to rest on her tummy. "Now all we can do is wait." Eyes widened before she could continue, a bright blur moving forward out of nowhere.
Said blur was the male kitsu, dashing forward to tackle the fullmetal. With a grin, he pinned down Ed with his weight, tapping his chin with his paw. "Good grief shrimp, you sure know how to bring alot of drama." Ronan chuckled before ruffling Ed's golden locks.

Pleasant, certainly... unexpected.. most assuredly. Edward really had no room to argue. His long standing friendship with Lilianna, had blossomed into a hopeless case of young puppy love that was steadily growing deeper and stronger. The rejection had caused Edward's feelings to backtrack a bit, but he was quickly catching up again. The intial shock of it all having left him spinning... but he would recover quickly. Already he was mostly back to his old self.
Before poor Ed had time to react to the sudden blur, he found himself face first in the floor with a larger kitsu pinning him down. A muffled growl, and then Ed lifted his head. Appendages flailing as he tried to get away from the brightly colored male, "I'M NOT A SHRIMP!" As far as the drama... yes... he certainly seemed to be a magnet for it, didn't he?

"Nice to see you, Ronan." Setsumi rolled her eyes at his antics, slight sympathy going out to Ed. True, drama had shown its face quite often. But it seems to have come to passed; at least for now. The adult rested her head on her paws, allowing her thoughts to drift as the others argued childishly.
"Oh really?" A brow raised as the teen flailed under him in vain. Boy, was this kitsu ever in denial. Ronan finally solled off to rest on his side, tails curling in eager enjoyment to soon be leaving. He tilted his head away in a shrug, closing white eyes against Ed's complaining. "You're right, it's impossible for you to be a shrimp." Lips twitched in a smirk. "You're just a midget, that's all." He said it as if it was a solution to any dissagreement.

Ronan knew exactly how to push Ed's buttons, and he seemed to really enjoy it too... like that Mustang jerk! Although Ronan could be more agreeable than him... sometimes.
As Ronan got off him, Edward sprang to his paws and got in his face... despite the closed eyes. "WHO YOU CALLING SO SMALL HE CAN ONLY BE SEEN WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS YOU JERK!?" Ed's voice practicly echoing down the hallway as he shrieked his discontent. Every kitsu in the building probably heard him.

Setsumi gave nothing more than a flick of an ear, tuning out the two males. Eyes feigned a nap as she thought over passed events, the most recent rewinding in her mind. Terasu befriending Charity, eh? And the body language of the sin daughter only made Setsumi frown lightly.
Ronan tsked and opened one eye to glare to the boy. "Can you be any louder?" He emphasized his unconcern to Ed's pride with a yawn. He pushed a paw to Ed's forehead to push him away, the action making him in return roll lazily to his side with a smirk.

Edward glared back... and his question of being any louder was answered as the teen was pushed at. "HEY!" he shouted, even louder than before. A irritated growling coming from Ed just before he pounced at the lazily lounging Ronan. And of course... the jabbing of his automail arm into Ronan's ribs and stomach was totally an accident!

Ugh, how far could she think with such loud goofs. It didn't help any that one of them was an adult. Brows twitched before the femme slowly opened eyes. "Can you two please keep it down?" Her tails swished back and forth in an anxious and tempered manner. Fine, celebrate and whatnot...just not so loudly.
Black tipped ears pinned back at the teen, who weighed way heavier than he looked. @__@ Tails flicked Ed in the face as Ronan twitched every now and then at his jabbing metal limbs. "I'm not a bean bag kid!!" He nipped at his ears right when Setsumi scolded, and a chew later he released said skin. "Now look what you did." He tugged quietly at Ed's braid to pull him off his body.

Ugh.. it wasn't fair that he was so small! Ed scrambling as he got pulled by the braid and eventually falling off Ronan to make a face at him and point, "He started it!" he complained towards Setsumi. Sticking his tongue out at the brightly colored male. It was all in good humor of course... although it made him look incredibly immature.

A roll of her eyes as she made to sit up. She had nothing to say to that, it was true. Still. With a tilt of her head, she stood and walked away to the couch, hopping on and curling to rest. Green eyes kept a quiet eye on the room.
Ronan just gave a blank stare to Ed's whining, and stuck his own tongue out before rolling back on his side. His body deflated in a sigh while he craned his head to Setsumi. "I thought we were leaving? Hello~"
