The Ballroom
Just over a year ago, we came together to make this guild. A place for us to show our work to each other, for us to guide each other with our different techniques, our various styles and skills. I can say that I definitely improved my abilities as an editor because of the guidance of my fellow guild members. And now a year has gone by and it's time to celebrate our 1 year Anniversary. What better way to do that than with a guild wide edit Jam?
with the penthouse ballroom magnificently decorated in silver & blue, feel free to come dressed in ur finest formal suits/dresses and celebrate our guild's birthday in style. the stage is set with a live band so everybody can boogie down on the dance floor.. or if dancing isnt ur cup of tea, then there is a lounge area set up with the most comfortable sofas & seats.. also, dont forget about the elegant dining area (complete with open bar!).. and finally, just in case u need a breath of fresh air, there is an open balcony with a lovely view back by the lounge area, just past the waterfall fountain.
oh, and one last thing.. throughout this seven-day party, every single gaian in here is to enjoy themselves to the fullest & celebrate like theres no tomorrow! xd --------------------------------------a new room has been discovered just next to the stage!shocktv3 *walks into what seems like an ad for a tropical beach resort; a quiet open area lined by palms & fallen coconuts, a large clear swimming pool in the middle of the white sandy floor, cushioned wooden lounge chairs & deck chairs scattered around poolside, a sunken hot tub situated just past the pool at the end of the sand, where a grass lawn begins, some hammocks, a few tables, & a small but fully loaded bar found at the end of a line of tiki torches* surprised

The Theme: Anniversary Ball. In honor of the occasion, I want to see everyone dressed in their finest. Bowties, Beautiful Dresses, Tuxedo's, Sequins, Top Hats, Glitter and Glamour. Fine wine, Dancing, and everyone having a good time. So dress yourself up for this Ballroom Bash, and let the festivities begin!
This portion of the Jam will run until Monday August 1st. That is 4 weeks for you to come up with the most extravigent get-up for your avatar.

although the official gaeaj thread will still take care of all official news and judging for the contest, all formalwear edits posted in here will be listed for all to see 3nodding it isnt required for u to repost ur edits in here if u already have in the official gaeaj contest thread as judyfay's current list will be copied into here, but it is another chance to flaunt ur beautiful edits once again in front of ur fellow members.----------------------------------------------------------------------------
