As I stated on the homepage, this school will be mainly for those who want to get their writing style up to snuff. I have granted temporary membership to those who are willing to try, and this will be the only place besides the forest rp in this area, that you can rp in till you can prove yourself. This limit is to help create a literate friendly group, and to improve yourself as well.
For those that are taking this on their temp pass, there will be several classes offered, and you'll have to take them within the two weeks time. Once it hits two weeks, you'll get to test out what you learned. How to do this? There will be a forest RP in there that you can enter in and out at your own free will (I'll explain it more once the forest rp is created). Once the two weeks are over, you'll enter it, interact with other people and the environment, and put to use the things you've learned. Think of it as a final or an exam. If you showed little to no improvement, your membership will expire, and you'll have to wait 2 weeks before you can try and join again. During this drought, I highly recommend joining some literate rps in Barton town to start testing out your skills and trying to improve them. Once two weeks are up, you can apply again, and have to take the classes all over again.
If you pass, you get full membership, and can have a blast in all the rps that we have opened. If you show great improvement, but lack in an area or two, you will then have to repeat only the courses that you lack in. You'll have two-three days per a retake in the course, and try it in the forest rp once again.
As for the length of classes for everyone in general is determined on how well you do. If you jump into a class and blow it out of the water, Kudos, go to your next class. However if you are really needing help in it, take a few days, or even a week even, anything to help you out. However I'd prefer you not to be omnipresent and take all classes at once, as how this might overload the teachers. Anyways, however long you take per a class is up to you and how well you do, but two weeks is the max length I want to wait. If you get under it, go ahead and go to the forest. The teachers will have your name on a list in their class room, by the end of the two weeks, you have to get an OK by your name, so I'll know what classes you've taken. If you ended up not taking all the classes because you were spending a long time getting a skill fixed, I'll let you go to the forest, see if you improved on what you were learning, and as I said before, I may extend your time so you can practice on what you're lacking.
As for the teachers of the courses, I am hoping to have a wide variety so that they can focus on teaching their strengths. Also I am hoping that there will be a different teacher, and perhaps even make some substitute teachers who can take over classes when another teacher is: sick, on vacation, has writer's block, or anything else that they need a leave of absence. I am hoping this will allow teachers not feel the pressure they are needed 24/7, and they can take breaks now and then.
Final notes. You can take the classes even if you're a literate. Reasons for doing this are up to you, just know if you're not on the teacher's list of new students, you won't get as much attention. I guess you could be a special guest in the glass rooms, and sharpen up your skills and other things, or perhaps judge how well the teacher is doing, or perhaps even helping the teacher out with things. Just try not to distract the people who are learning haha.
Well I hope this school rp becomes educational to all of us, and teaches us a lesson or two about things ^_^. Have fun rp'ing everyone.
