Well, perhaps she needed a nap; after all, she had stayed up late the night before, and well, a nap never hurt! Yes, indeed, a nap would actually be quite good for her. "A simple nap would do wonders for my already happy mood," she said to herself, enjoying the day and the area around her. Finding a nice tree with a soft shade, she lay under it and promptly fell asleep.

 Ryujin laid himself down on the grass, tired and hungry. "Ugh..." He groaned as his stomach growled. rustle rustle. His ears perked as he heard the rustles not to far away. He looked up slowly and saw a small brown rabbit. He licked his chops watching the small creature. His stomach growled again; the small rabbit looked around torward his direction.
Ryujin froze, looking into the small rabbit's eyes. The small rabbit then fled with him chasing behind. The rabbit zig-zagged in all differant directions, his eyes set on the creature. This was his first chance at getting a meal today, and he wasn't going to pass it up. He continued on with the chase, unaware that the rabbit was heading torward a tree.
"Almost....got it.." He tried to increase his speed to pounce. It was really close now, 'Should I pounce? No...just..a little..closer..' "Ah Haa!" Just as he pounced the small rabbit turned left, leaving him to crash himself right into the tree's trunk, knocked out...

Thunk! The sound of a crash startled her into wakefulness as she jumped nearly ten feet in the air. Calming down as she realized no one was after her, she took a few deep breaths to slow her rapidly beating heart. Cautiously, she skulked along the edge of the tree she had been sleeping under, and as she circled around, she saw that a Ulaya was laying underneath it, unconscious. Worried, she walked towards him slowly, and began to nudge him to see if he was still, well, alive.
"Hello?" she said, hoping he was coming to consciousness. Well, perhaps not and... her stomach had just growled, and this caused Aurnia to temporarily forget she had a wounded fellow Ulaya as she looked around for something to eat. She soon spotted a small brown rabbit, and, soft blue eyes glowing eagerly, she carefully tread towards the creature. It didn't seem to have noticed her yet... and if her stomach growled now...
She pounced, nearly losing the creature if she hadn't been so quick with her claws. Killing with one clean slice, she brought it back to where the male Ulaya lay unconscious. Debating carefully, she decided she'd share the rabbit with him... once he woke up. Tearing the food in as much as half as she could, she lay one end in front of the white male and began to gulp down the other part for herself. Finishing her meal, Aurnia felt her wings twitch in worry as the other Ulaya had yet to awake...

"Owww, my head...", Ryujin groaned. He slowly got up, his eyes closed with one paw rubbing at the top of his head. He sneezed as the extra fur on his arm started to tickle his nose. He paused, as a certain smell suddenly hit him. His tail wagged vigorously as he turned his head over to the small dead rabbit. He suddenly got to all fours and pounced on it. Just as he was about to start on the rabbit's carcass, he froze, realizing the green ulaya sitting close by. "Oh, Umm...Hello" He said with a nervous laugh.

She had to hide her grin at the other Ulaya when he pounced on the small dead rabbit. He must have been very, very hungry to eat so vigorously like that! Hiding back a cute, cheerful giggle that was dying to pour from her mouth, she nodded politely. "Hello," she said kindly. "I'm Aurnia. Are you all right?"
She had noticed that he had a slight bump on his forehead and felt a little concerned, but on the bright side, he looked like he was in perfect shape. Wonderful! Being a cheerful creature, Aurnia waited patiently for her new friend--if he wanted to be her friend, that is--to answer her. The peacefulness of the surrounding area had her feeling sleepy, however, so it was also a bit hard for her to stay awake and pay attention enough to listen.

Ryujin struggled a little bit as he tried to get back to his feet, still feeling quite confused by what had just happened. After getting back to his feet and sitting down in front of the rabbit he looked back over to the green ulaya. "Hehe...sorry about that. I didn't realize that it was your rabbit...hehehe.." He scratched the back of his head lightly with his claws, feeling a bit uneasy and confused as to what to do or say next. He paused suddenly, noticing that a little bit of the rabbit's blood was still on his paw. He began to try and whipe the blood off of his white fur. "So... Aurnia? My name's Ryujin"

She smiled at him kindly as she viewed him over with slight concern. "You're all right?" she questioned once more, and then shrugged it off when he didn't answer, so she assumed he was fine. "No, I placed that rabbit for you right there," she corrected, and smiled again. "I could tell you'd be hungry when you woke." She nodded when he acknowledged her name, and she smiled wider when he introduced himself. "Hello, Ryujin... it's a pleasure to officially meet you," she said with mirth, sky blue eyes sparkling with gentle amusement.

"Why, its quite a pleasure to meet you too Aurnia" Ryujin smiled. Then ticking back to what she had just said earlier, a confused look appeared on his face, his head tilted as he faced Aurnia, and then stared down at the rabbit. "You sure? It's your kill..." He said looking back over to Aurnia, pointing at the rabbit that was laid infront of him. As hungry as he was, be couldn't just take the rabbit when she had gotten to it first. For all he knew, she might actually need it more than he did. He walked over behind the rabbit and nudged it over to Aurnia. "I'm sorry, but...I just don't think I could except this..." He gave her an apologetic smile, hopeing that he might not have offended her in doing so.
