Hello, I am interested in where everyone is from and how they're getting to Otakon. I'm from Raleigh, North Carolina and I will be driving to Otakon. It's about five hours from here

I'm from Federalsburg, MD and it won't take me that long to get to Baltimore. Maybe like a hour and a half.

I'm from Amherst, MA and I haven't figured out how I'm getting to Otakon yet... But it seems to be like that every year.

Norfolk, Virginia here. I'm driving... Depending on traffic, I'm hopinh it takes no more than 4 hours.

Allentown, PA- it should only take about 3 hours, 3 1/2 at most. I'm going with a friend and her mom is driving us. 3nodding

From Connecticut it'll take me about five hours to get down to otakon- less if we drive fast. wink

I'm from Maryland. It usually takes me about forty minutes to get to the convention center depending on traffic.

It looks like most people are driving, which makes sense. Trains usually cost more and take longer than driving ( gonk ) and planes of course are very expensive. I'm driving up with my sister (Gaia name = Penden). Actually I'm looking for people to carpool with to help with the cost of gas, but no luck yet. Melikokun, I'd offer for you but you'd be a bit out of my way. xd
