Okay, so I was thinking. Aro rocks, he's my favorite character, and he has so many cool things about him. Really, if you had a happy-go-lucky attitude after 3,000 years or so of dealing with humans, you are my god.
So, now some reasons why Aro rocks:
He looks like he floats when he moves.
His skin looks translucent.
His eyes are milky but seeable.
He's way happy (great for a person who's going to live forever).
He loves his family and friends. (you can tell)
He respects Carlisle even though he hasn't seen him in a few hundred years.
He stopped his brothers from killing everyone.
I can see him being the leader of the three brothers.
He's well over 3000 years old.
Any oppions?

Aro also:
Gets pleasure out of seeing any vampire, who diesnt agree with him, in pain.
He's a killer,in cold blood I might add, and he tricks before he kills.
Oh and HE LET JANE HURT EDWARD!
Other than that I have nothing wrong with him, I just hate him.

Aro is totally cool! He manages to be happy after all these years of being in a cold, dank underground. That is a hero within itself, because sunshine is a great thing.
After I read New Moon, I talked with some of my friends, and two fo them hated Aro and I didn't understand why.
He Rocks!

Aro does rock..he's one of my favorite characters. It's hard to explain why I like his character so much, but I remember reading in New Moon when he was introduced and I became fasinated with him right away. His description, how he talks and walks, how he commands, and organizes. Hopefully Aro will be included in Eclipse more.

Explanitory: In the book, Caius was going on and on about killing Bella, and because Edward refused to leave her, Alice and him also. Aro gave them the option of leaving. Thus, he did, in esnce, save their lives.
Number 2 is just drop-dead stupid.
Explanitory: Am I really explaning this? Okay, well, so are the Cullens. They just happen to kill animals in cold blood, something that's not as criminal. Aro thinks that's the only way to survive, and he's looking out for what he considers his "family", or Vulturi. He didn't trick either--his people did it. And, it was not just for him, the whole of Vulturi eats in that meal, as well as other vampires. Think of it as a peace offering between vampires. Also, it was their fault for being tourists.
Number 3 isn't really worth the typing, either, but okay.
Explanitory: He was almost positive that she wouldn't hurt Bella, as his powers and Edward's didn't work on her. This man takes his powers seriously, as you can imagion, most likely because he rules over most vampires with them. Edward jumped in front of Bella, and of course, he stopped Jane in under a minute.
So, yes, hating Aro isn't tolerated.
You will learn to love it. twisted

Aro's all right. He's funny and very.. Happy-go-lucky. I think one of his only flaws would be the fact that he forgets that humans are "people" too. Other than that I think it's an interesting character that will be very fun to read how he unravels. 3nodding

I loved Aro~ He's (so far) my favorite member of the Volturi (and one of my favorite undead characters. Shoot me. wink ) After 3000 years he still has a personality, unlike his zombie-like brothers. He even made me chuckle in New Moon. Yay Aro!
I totally agree with Insider. heart Kudos for Aro for saving the lives of Bella, Edward, and Alice.

I think, I'm not totally sure, that it's an unconious thing, so they don't feel as bad when they eat them. I mean, look at Jasper and the trouble he had doing it because he could feel their pain and shock, et cetra. I guess it's a debatable topic.
But I think it's mainly about the vampire and their own views on humanity. Surely there's a vampire out there that feeds off of humans that still has a respect for the humanity. Or something like that.

Aro is my favorite non-main character. he's funny, and nice and happy even after millenia of ruling the vampires and staying in that castle. He's just fun, despite being evil and a killer, but otherwise he rocks! xd

I think I'm crazy, but I think Aro is absolutely ADORABLE! He's so cute! How he acts all jolly and amused easily by literally anything! ADORABLE! >< I wanna pinch his papery stone cheeks till he bites me! O.o
