"All Fired Up" is totally rockin' and "No I In Threesome" is so lovely! "The Lighthouse" is going to blow our minds. I've read great reviews about it. smile I feel bad, I promised I wouldn't listen to any leaks. xd

Dr. Norman "All Fired Up" is totally rockin' and "No I In Threesome" is so lovely! "The Lighthouse" is going to blow our minds. I've read great reviews about it. smile I feel bad, I promised I wouldn't listen to any leaks. xd that happened to me with Icky Thump....now same with this album sad

"Rest My Chemistry" is maybe my favorite off the new album, actually!

God, I feel like such a failure of a fan right now. I SHOULD be DEVOURING this new album, pirate intarplaise version that it is, but I've only listened to it once! *God damn you, Jarvis!!!1!1* I need to get in the mood...perhaps I should just listen to Heinrich Maneuver and Rest My Chemistry on repeat for the next four days. >.>
I think I've only heard one song from Icky Thump. I know I liked it much more than what I heard off the previous album. 3nodding

Here are my thoughts on the new tracks:
I really like "The Lighthouse's" funeral-like feel. "Pioneer to the Falls" tugs on my heart strings with "I felt you so much today." "The Heinrich Maneuver" makes me dance every time I hear it, and I just have to mouth the lyrics "I don't want to take your heart, and I don't want a piece of history. No, I don't want to read your thoughts, anymore" and belt out, "Today, my heart swings!" whee "Pace is the Trick" reminds me of being in love, thus making it my fav track thus far. "..take your pride, my lioness." I love that line, for what ever reason. I love more,"See how I stun." "No I in Threesome" is lyrically brilliant. "Rest My Chemistry" has a great story, and it reminds me of someone I adore, so I can't help but love it. Can't help but love the lines, "You're so young, you look in my eyes. You're so young, so sweet, so surprised. You look so young like a daisy in my lazy eye..." "All Fired Up" leads me to think of all the people who have ticked me off in the past and how much I'd like to "take them all on". "The Scale" reminds me of "The Phantom of the Opera", which is my all-time favorite musical. "The Wrecking Ball" also reminds me of love and also of how we tend to change when we're with someone without even knowing it. heart "Nobody told you that I could just waltz through and shake up your style." "I'm inside like the wrecking ball through your eyes, and I change it all from the inside." And... Yeah, I love this album. 4laugh 4laugh 4laugh
Oddly, I started listening to Antics more lately... but I'm sure I'll be back into OLTA in no time. I can't seem to go a day without "Pace is the Trick".

I changed my mind. I've fallen in love with "Pace Is The Trick"; number one in my book.
"Who Do You Think?" is next! That guitar... Daniel's an animal and I looove it.
"The Lighthouse" is so haunting, it's hard for me not to like it. So it's number three.

'Our Love to Admire' = Greatness.
I didn't like 'The Lighthouse' at first but I listened to it on repeat
as I cried to the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It fit really well.
(I'm such a nerd)
Probably my fave tracks are 'Pioneer to the Falls' and 'Rest my Chemistry'.

I didn't like 'The Lighthouse' at first but I listened to it on repeat
as I cried to the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It fit really well.
It is a sad song. The first time I heard it, I thought I may cry. It's surprising how emotional I felt. It was almost like a spiritual experience for me.
Of course, I've played it until I've woarn it out. Now, I'm back on "Rest My Chemistry" and still addicted to "Pace is the Trick". Oh, and "Mind Over Time" is definitely one of my fav's of the moment. biggrin
