The humid breeze of the ocean swayed through the early mornings air. So thick you could taste the salt from the ocean. The sun was still down but glowed from around where the ocean touched the sky creating a gentle orange aura to the land. The ocean crashed and pulled back as a stranger to these lands dug the pads of his paws upon its turf. Trent was a stranger to these lands and never really took any known interest in the ocean. The salty breeze tickled his nose and sand found its way on his white and light blue fur. He continued forward towards the ocean.

"Curious," he said under his breath as he studied it. It truly was curious and in every way a mystery to this Alpha. If he was younger he would have loved to play in the swells. This was a place he would love to take his pups to one day. Maybe they would play along with the ocean. Who knew.

His thought disappeared as he came back to earth hearing an early gull cry its song out. Ears flicked in annoyance but he did not state this. He just continued on wards, parallel to the ocean. Paws dipped in its salty gray mystery as he walked. Not really sure why he chose to leave his territory to come to the beach. To see the sun rise? He did not know. Maybe h just needed to get away for a bit and find some inspiration for his poetry.

The gulls cry was music to the pirate ears as she was lazily stretched out in the warm topaz sand. The golden hue of the sunset was breath-taking, yet that's not what enthralled this alpha so. Oh no. There was a deeper love on this beach for her. The Sea. It was Chui`Fen's first love. No wolf, male or female, could come between her, and that expance of blue and silver.

The breeze off the cooling ocean air ruffled the pale fur of the elegant alpha as she slowly lifted herself onto her paws and lazily stretched out her defined muscles. Her ears then perked as a gull gave a cry and the breeze carried an unfamiliar scent to the femmes nose. She stayed frozen for a moment, determining the direction of the breeze, so she could determine where this new arrival was.

She realized it was due north a ways, and dure enough, she saw the faint outline of a figure, it appeared as if the wolf had some black thing curiously wrapped around itself.

Chui`Fen narrowed her eyes and slowly stalked forward, knowing this other would would soon see and smell her. She would, of course, be curdious and kind, as a good host would, and find out this wolves' intentions before she flew off the handel and attack it. That would only come to be if this other proved to be a threat. Chui`Fen half wished Razuu was near by, as back up, but the dark male was off hunting. His solitary duty for now.

Trent's nose wiggled. The ocean's wind carried a scent of another being towards his maw, he was being followed? He had been careless that was one thing for sure. This was not his territory, he knew this. Hearing rumor's of pirate wolves who prowled these beaches, he knew he was at a risk. As he turned his head, his one yellow and one white eye fixated on the white black green figure a ways off. He could not tell if the figure was male of female, it was a ways off and too far to smell. He plopped down in the wet sand. The sand sunk down forming around his body as he did so perfectly. His black and gold sash was picked up by the wind blowing the direction it was blowing north giving Trent his most common ghostly appearance.

He sat and waited for the wolf to catch up, the manner of which this wolf walked did not seem threatening. Maybe it was just another wolf who had wondered aimlessly and ended up by the ocean. His eyes kept watching the figure as it neared. Green beads gleamed in the sun light and random bracelets shined. Odd attire for a wolf, Trent merely thought to him self. He often did not vocalize his thoughts if you were lucky enough to hear his calm and soothing voice.

Chui`Fen stopped a comfortable distance away from Trent and stood in the wet sand. Her black paws glittered witht he topaz grains and her emerald eyes looked down cooly at this intruding male. The clink of her jewely coupled with thye waves was soothing to her. The gentle breeze ruffled her fur as she watched the male laying so in her sand. It made her frown a small bit.

"So who are you?" She asked calmly. Now that she could seem him so carefully, he appeared to be well fed, and built. Perhaps he was a pack wolf? Maybe an alpha like she? Either way, this was her territory, she had inhabited it for a time, and her scent was spread out along the edges of the coast.

Trent watched the figure as she sat a safe distance from him. It was easy to tell she did not want a fight at all, just curious to see why he had wandered to this territory. He assumed that this beach was hers and hers alone. Her figure was more feminine up close. Easy on the eyes and on the ears as well. Trent still would not underestimate her. That was one thing an assassin would never do being kings and queens of deception them selves. Never let your guard down. Though this wolf did not seem she wanted a fight it was hard to stay on guard.

"Trent," He said in a calm and soothing voice. He gave her a faint smile, a tad uneasy still. "May I inquire who you may be?" His voice was as calm and soothing as ever as his words passed through his maw.

"I'm called Chui`Fen..." she stated simply. She was use to sweet talkers, and no matter how smooth, or calming this wolf talked, Chui`Fen stayed on high alert, even though her posture made her appear docile for now, she was ready to lunge at him, if he offended her into doing so.

"So what brings you out here? I don't see many wolves like you wandering to this beach..." and it was true. The only wolves who came here where ones who either were hunting, or were very young and curious about the sea. Not many pack wolves wandered out here. Especially ones from the woods, he had the scent of bark and plants all over him.

Trent's eyes were now on the ocean. A dreamy gaze upon his face, though he was still alert, he was not really ready to lunge or defend him self. The ocean had called him here for some unknown reason. The clouds had shown him the way. Now he found him self aimlessly traveling with no purpose in mind. Self absorbed in his dreamy thoughts of poetry. The white, green and black wolf had caught him at a very odd time. Though on the inside he was kind of glad to find another soul. His heart and mind were taken aback by the sea beauty.

"I have no purpose here I suppose," He said with a very blank soulless stare deep into her eyes. His eyes were haunting and mysterious, not cold though. "I suppose I followed my heart and found my soul to be stolen by the beauty of this beach." His voice as smooth and calm as ever. The wind kicked up dancing though the white and light blues male fur in a loving manner. His scarf flapped some mysteriously in the wind giving Trent an unearthly beauty he was used to having.

The sea was truly bewitching with her murky mysterious. The sun shone off her with a haunting glow as the swells elapsed onto their selves at the brink point. Truly wonderful and mysterious. It was no wonder a poet like Trent was taken aback by its wonder.

"Well... if mother Ocean called ye, I suppose I should show ye some hospitality... so, Trent... where do ye hail from?" She asked calmly, watching him through her deep emerald orbs. His soulless gaze made a shiver run down her back, but she kept herself calm and collected. She had never encountered a wolf like this. He seemed to be in a daze and Chui`Fen found herself relaxing and growing increasingly transfixed on him. His off-white fur with it's odd blue markings looked dashing and he was far more elegant then the womanizing sea dogs she was use to dealing with. Even the ones who were charming and talked sweetly could be very rude.

"The ocean is very respectable," He had to admit it was a great force of nature. He had never really taken the time to get to know it. "It inspires me even now," Though he did not say in what area it inspired him. Trent was a poet at heart, one who loved words. Very few wolves knew this about him though, he liked to keep it to him self.

"Glittering gem that drawls the world to its beckoning
Humble yet forceful
you can be drawn back one second and forceful the next
Though many eyes are blinded to your power
A mistress of mystery
Lay hidden ready to strike
Though you glimmer in the light shining your innocent
Foolish wolves give you their complete trust," He gave her a smile. "It needs work," He said with a silk smooth voice a smile curled slightly at her on his maw. He looked deeply into her green emerald eyes unblinking.

((Shhhh chobi isnt a poet xD;lawls at her attempt to do poetry))

Though his gaze met her eyes, his deep gaze pericing through her, she felt a bit of angry swell. She let it pass like an angry wave lapping upon the sand and decided she could ask again later. His poem hit her ears and she felt a bit confused. She was not one who was familiar with poetry. True the pirates had songs, but this poem was like no verse she had heard. "And ye say thats inspired by the ocean?" She asked skeptically eyeing him. Now that she thought about the words, the poem could apply to her. But Chui`Fen supposed she was like the oceans waters.

Trent looked at the ocean for a good while, "I suppose," His gaze was still set on the ocean. Watching as the waves washed ashore and then took cover back into the very depths they had come from. "But the poem does not really belong to me does it, if the ocean inspired it then its hers and hers alone." He looked back at her with a hint of the smile that was once there. "Curious is it not? Inspiration." He said and then said nothing more after that. Only his ghostly sash made a sound as it rustled in the oceans breeze.

"I'm not much for poetry meself. And never had any inspiratiuon to write any, or such." Chui`Fen admitted as she nestled into the sand and gazed out at the sea and the horizon. "So Trent, are ye jus a wanderin' poet, or do ya have buisness here?"

Trent smiled not looking directly at Chui` Fen , "I suppose I had no reason for coming," He started. The wind blowing through the wolves scarf seemed to come to a stop letting his ghostly scarf drop flat on the ground and hang from his proud neck, "But now that I know that the ocean possesses great beauty I think I may have some what of a purpose." He was not really talking about the ocean at this point but rather her. He turned to her and smiled. Silence fell after he did so.

After what seemed a long moment in time he broke the silent void. "Your a pirate wolf arent you?" His voice was curious but it had a hint of knowing. Pirates did not bother him much to be honest. Being a wolf of the forest he never really came across those who were of the sea. Pirates had never given his pack any trouble. He was not against their ways for they had never been against his.
