Welcome one and all to Break Free's second Annual Ball! Here, you can find plenty of activities and contests to take part in. We have guild awards, where you can vote for various members under their respective nominations (Best dressed, most likely to marry a rockstar, etc.).
Get your creative juices flowing with the Art Contest and the lovely Icontest! Why not put your Queen music knowledge to the test by having a go at Soren's Song Snippet Contest? And while you're at it, dress up as your favourite Queenie and parade around the Masquerade! heart
What? The excuse for this thread? Well, I figured we're all going to need a little place to chat, I realise that we can always use the General Discussion forum or be silly in the other threads in the main forum, but since this is the actual party, why not a thread of its own to facilitate our chattering selves?

To put it bluntly, Mike was one of the original founders of this guild and has been (in the time that he was here) one of the more resourceful members because he owned all the obscure, hard-to-get albums 3nodding
Now, a little over a few months ago, he decided to leave the guild for MySpace, WoW... basically very pathetic stuff, because he felt he couldn't contribute anything more to the guild. Fairy, Popo and I were notably upset from all this because he was abandoning US for something silly. What made it even worse was his excuse; we asked nothing of him, at least not too much, so there was no real reason for him to up and leave.
...
Anyway, last year's party wasn't so hot because we didn't have many members at the time, and everyone wasn't on at the same time (so everything moved VERY slowly). So, to see all this going down so well and everyone having fun is a huge relief X3

Can't really recall because most of them were inactive, but the only members that did participate the time were Popo, Fairy, Jabber, Mike, two or three unknown members and myself.
Really, not a whole lot happened XD But now that we have you awesome people to celebrate with, let's have some fun, eh?

I can imagine thinking back on stuff like that. In my time on the Internet, I've been to a few little, close-knit communities, boards, stuff like that, and man, it's so hard to believe how fast the time flies sometimes. So much conversation! O___O

It's spammed up to the brim with fangirls squealing over the most trivial thing and believing every Queen myth there was out there (like Roger's tattoo). Also, not a lot of intelligent people to discuss with, the ones that spoke in cohorent English were either the founders of this very guild, or the bitchy 'get the ******** off my internetz *****!' GD people O_o;
And I can't even remember how I found out about Popo's idea anyway XD I remember sending her a PM about it, though X3

You somehow clicked on a link to my blog and just so happened to see that I was plotting to rebel with a guild of my own, aided by Mike. whee Wow... Imagine what it would have been like had you not clicked on my Gaia journal and seen the link to my Blogger account... Our lives could be completely different! xd
