So. I'm sure we've all had lyrical lapses when it comes to Queen. I was wondering what you lot might have misheard, and if it was funny at all. When I first heard "Bring Back Leroy Brown", the line where it says something about him getting elected president, I thought it said he got the 'electric president'. I was like "What? That doesn't make sense!"
Silly me.

I always thought the line 'you treat me like a dog' in Sweet Lady was 'you screaming, lying whore' xd

I misheard the song I Want It All. At the beginning it says Adventure Seeker and I always sing, Haven't you seen her?

Memai Shirosaki I always thought the line 'you treat me like a dog' in Sweet Lady was 'you screaming, lying whore' xd LOL In a song called 'Sweet Lady'. XD
In 'Misfire', I thought it said "Fill the earth" instead of "Fill me up".

I just went and played it to see what you mean. It really does sound like that! xd Well, as for my own mondegreens... everybody knows my "scaramouche" line, where I always sing it, "Scare a moose". razz

Hehe, I imagine not. razz But man, I'm so going to learn that song someday and sing that line like that. xp
It works a bit better if you smear it into "Scary moose, scary moose, will you do the fandango?" razz That's why I call our Scaramouche Fandango "Scary" most of the time.

Uh..well, the first time I listened to "Get Down, Make Love" the whole way through without immediately changing the the next song (I was a youngin'), I could have sworn that the first part of "You take my body, I give you heat" was actually "You take my buck teeth..."
Seriously. Go listen, now. It fits great xD

i always thought that the line in Sweet Lady that goes "You call me sweet like i'm some kind of cheese" wasn't really that, but turns out, it really is about cheese.

I love that rofl I always thought in Killer Queen that when they say 'insatiable appetite', I thought it was 'they say she put an appetite' and Instead of 'Perfume came naturally from Paris, for cars she couldn't care less' I thought it was 'but if you came naturally from Paris, ******** up she couldn't care less' And that's just one song. There are a lot more I'm sure, but none that I can think of at the moment.

For the longest time, she had no idea that they were saying "She keeps her Moet et Chandon" at the beginning.

I've allways thought that in "March of the black queen", when the lyric acually goes "We've only begun - begun", that they're saying "Pika, Pika!" like in Pokémon O.o
