I love it, of course, I'm a Mario Party fan. However, if you're into minigames with the wiimote and some crazy party boards, I would suggest buying it. Of course, it's a lot better if you actually have some one to play it with, because the party aspect and all of the craziness involved is easier to feel if you play the game with 2 or more people in the same room.
I have a more in-depth description in my topic Two Great Games for the Wii (not a shameless plug, I just hope that it will be able to provide better information). Of course, if you're still not sure about purchasing the game, I would suggest at least renting it, and then making your final decision.

after playing the first 7 and the one on the GBA i have given up on mario party because the 3rd one is the best ^_^
