So, I went to Wendy's the other day, and there was this gaggle of teenagers walking in. You know, those typical teenage girls who always cross their arms over their chest in a hostile manner, dressed in skintight Ambercrombie and Fitch shirts and miniscule shorts that hardly cover their a**, and said girls were accompanied by their boyfriends, as dumb as rocks.

There's this new sandwidh called "The Baconator" that's out now. And then this one girl, who was as thin as a rail (and you could TELL that she wore a padded bra) said, "Ooh, that looks so good! It's probably like a thousand calories!"

Yeah, a thousand calories that you NEED, b***h. stare

And can you believe that she had the nerve to say that in front of me?! I was probably the only fat person in that place (and you'd be surprised how many skinny people frequent fast food restaurants). It's like she was saying, "Like OMG! If I dare over-indulge, I'll become fat just like that diseased person over there! Fat is evil and bad and should not belong on the female body! LOL!11!1"

I hate to break it to ya, toots, but most people who are fat are not lazy, nor do they "over-indulge" in "bad" foods. Humans, especially women NEED fat, both in their diets and in their bodies. Fat and calories are both nutrients. End the. I wish some people would get their heads out of their asses. -__-;

And for the record, no, I did not order the Baconator. However, because of that one scrawny chick, I might be tempted to next time... twisted

Discuss:

-What the hell is up with teenagers today?
-Valley girls.
-Any other stereotypical teenagers who seem to be fat-phobic (and plenty of goths are, believe me).
-Fat in the diet and fat in the body
-If you've been in a situation similar to this one.
-The fact that this post is making my mosquito bite itch even more than it actually is supposed to.

Oh yeah, and I meant absolutely no harm to anyone who might be a teenager or a valley girl for that matter. sweatdrop

I think you're reading a little too much into that. o.0 Honestly, she probably wasn't conciously aware of anyone outside of her little social circle.

Hmm, I have to agree with Fuzzy on this one...I didn't see anything wrong with that situation, to me it just sounded like a typical teenage girl using grand exaggerations in speech.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if the sandwich actually did have 1000 calories in it...there's quite a few fast food items that can top the 1k calorie mark easily. It's pretty disgusting, which is why I seldom...if ever, go to fast food places.

I think you're reading too much into mundane speech and making it automatically negative just because the person saying it happens to be a type of person you don't particularly like.

I'm not trying to offend, but let me ask you this....

If this "valley" girl was replaced with a fat girl, would you have taken any less offense? Think about it...I'm pretty sure it wasn't what she said...it was the person behind the words that upset you so much. I may be wrong, but it sounds like reverse hate to me. *shrug*
