This post is a bit long, but since this isn't the GD I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'm also sparing you my font formatting.
Have you ever noticed traits about the members of Queen that remind you of yourself? Hair? Eyes? Personality?
Explain please!
We can learn more about Queen and each other!
Or obsess like fangirls who actually have brains.
Whichever.

Okay, mine.
It's probably pretty obvious by now which member I fancy.
Yes, it's the incomparable Deaky.
To make this make sense, I have to explain myself. My current Queen obsession was brought on by watching a special about Freddie on Vh1Classic.
At first, I was just hoarding pictures of the group, and of Bri, because he was originally my favorite member in terms of looks. But, as I kept looking and looking, more and more I was noticing how sickeningly cute that John Deacon guy was getting.
And, I noticed that for some reason I was gravitating more and more towards John.
-I've heard that John's shy and a bit of a recluse, but there were some rare occasions where he was spontaneous and outgoing (there appear to be anyway). That sounds just like me. Shy and reclusive at times, but get me a wine cooler or two comfortable, around the right people, and I'm the most hyperactive, outgoing person I know.
-Particularly during some section of the Queen visual chronicles where Queen receives an award and John tries to keep off to the side and out of the spotlight.
I do that all the time. I sing, and I love doing it and want to do it in front of more people, but at the same time, I want to stay off to the sidelines and give other people the limelight, whether I should be taking it or not.
-When I read lyrics John has written, it makes me think that if I'd been around in his day, we would have gotten along famously.
-I find it a bit scary that when I watch his commentary on things, more often than not, I agree with what he's saying, and it's not even a fangirly thing either... I honestly agree.
- His nerdyness. He was a dweeb, but the lovable, cute sort. I've heard that's what I am. I agree with the dweeb part but I'm not sure about the other parts. I've seen pictures of Deaky where he looks very sexy, but you can see in his eyes that he doubts himself in that area. I do that so much, I practically coined the term.
-I have no idea what his voice actually sounds like (I'm trying to find a clip so I can hear it for myself), but what I hear about it generally isn't positive.
I feel like an egotistical maniac for saying this; I have a great voice, but I didn't always believe so. It was only because people saw my promise and had faith in me that I got where I am today.
-(This is all speculation of course) I can't help feeling that if John had had the support I did, maybe his voice would be a bit more refined, and he'd feel more confidence in it. Confidence has a great deal to do with it. Maybe the reason he doesn't sound so appetizing is because he doesn't have confidence.
I don't know. Is it natural to think and wonder all this stuff, or am I just a fangirl on a rampage?
