Not quite sure what to add to the Sanctum. It was mentioned before there was a thriving community of Heralds in the Sanctum before.... Maybe some sort of celestial shopping? *bricked* XP
Not quite sure... But with Nikolai's sacrifice, I haven't the foggiest idea. His sacrifice was supposed to be a bad omen after all.

Maybe little houses for each of the Heralds? Iunno...some kind of playplace for the younger ones?
For some reason I keep wanting to say "storm shelter" given the current plot. xd
The first is the only one I'd really like to see though. Rand'd like to have a little space to call his own.

Ideas:
Neh, some sort of river or show to a few elements.
Somewhere nice and high to go to as well like a massive tree or a tall building.
Maybe a place for everyone to meet....a square of some sort....i don't know

A temple, you know...a place of worship. Cathedral-esque sans the ominous nature attached - sort of a sanctum within a sanctum? A place for guidance, definitely.
With a garden on the inside...and an orange tree. With lots of twittering birds. <_< -Brain on Spain currently.-
