Anyone interested in doing a mini S3 rp? I love the Zexen knights and I'd like to role play wiht others who do. I usually role play Borus.
Post here with what character you'd like to be if you're interested.

Hate to discourage you, but as much as I love this guild, it is extrmely hard to get these *cough* fans *cough* to be interested in a RP. So just hold of for a bit, maybe one day. sad

Not so, I think a little S3 roleplay would be wonderful. It would definately be a welcome change from all the pointless Inuyasha and YuGiOh roleplays that seem to linger or generally piss of the players. If we start this, I'd like to be Chris, please.

We had probably 2 RP that folded, and 2 that hasn't even garner interest.... So believe me, it's hard to start an RP in this guild

Making a successful RP period is hard. I, myself, have a successful YuGiOh RP called MeSsEd uP, and it's a very crazy rp. Though, it is fun. People just need to make a RP that's interesting. I personally would LOVE a Suikoden III RP, but they're just too rare to find. Plus, it would just get buried in posts from other RPs before anyone even sees it.
Starting a Suikoden related RP here just might be better than starting it in Barton Town.

(Okay, I'll start. If we're lucky, some others might join!)
It was a quiet, starry, perfect night. The kind of night that Borus Redrum hated.
These were the nights when he would stumble drunkenly back to his living quarters with a splitting headache, bumping into young lovestruck couples as he went. Seeing their dreamy faces and hearing their soft laughter drifting over the empty cobbled streets of Vinay del Zexay made the senior knight want to wretch.
It was not because he found it repulsive, mind you. No, it was not that. It was because every time he saw two young people in love, it was a painful reminder to him of how utterly alone he was.
Plus, these nights were damn cold, too.
Borus shivered as he pulled his heavy cloak closer around himself. His armor usually kept him much warmer than was comfortable, but tonight the biting cold snuck in between the metallic sheets of his breastplate, giving the man even more reason to hurry home.
Huffing as he reached the top of sloping street, he paused only briefely to look at the Lightfellow residence to his left. His gaze lingered upon the garden for a moment. The brilliant flowers were eye-catching by day, but had paled to barely perceptible shades of dusty gray colors in the gloom of night.
Borus let out a heavy sigh and watched as the fog from his breath floated forward and dissipated slowly. Shaking his head in an effort to rid himself of his drunked stupor, he frowned and pressed on towards home.

OOC: I'm hoping we don't have to RP as the Zexen knights, am I right?

Well, you can be anyone you want, just as long as you keep the setting within Zexen.
For now, at least.

As the time passed for Borus and he seemed to go nowhere, he probably never noticed a figure off to his side until he was beside them. In the shopping district by the bay, a girl sat on one of the newly constructed benches alone, her silver hair spilling down her back as she stared out at the water.
She was wrapped up nicely, cloak, winter wear, fur hat... When Chris had returned, her first thoughts were to clean up her act and enjoy life a little more. Ever since recent events, she'd begun to realize just how precious life was, and how it shouldn't be wasted.
She let out her breath, a small shivering erupting over her form before she, on a whim, felt a familiar presence and turned. Her lavender eyes moved to take in Borus' form and she lowly breathed his name. "Borus... what're you doing out so late?"
(By the way, is this post-S3 or pre-S3?)

(I would say S3. It's too constricting to have to role play before the actual plot.)
Borus caught his breath. He hadn't seen her sitting there. Slowly, his throat tight, he approached her until he was standing at her side, though taking care to remain a respectable distance.
"I could ask the same of you, M'Lady." He said quietly, looking out to sea. "You should be resting."
The knight bit his lip, trying to avoid looking at his captain again. For a moment, the only sound he could hear was his own breathing as he watched the silent ships rock back and forth in the dark harbor.

(I imagine you meant after S3, since that gives us far more freedom.)
"Are you kidding? On a nice winter night like this?" She asked as she scooted over on the bench, allowing Borus to have a seat beside her. Once she had moved, she looked back out into the harbor and watched the night sky.
It would snow soon, the clouds in the sky had declared such a thing. Looking down at the True Water Rune in her right hand, she watched it glow for just a second before dulling back out. Even her rune had declared it was going to snow.
"I came out to watch the first snow of the season. Why're you out so late..." Then she took a sniff and reached over to Borus, pulling him down to sit beside her. "Have you been drinking again?"

(Er...yeah, that's what I meant. ^^)
Borus hesitated for a moment, but eventually sat down beside her, taking care to keep a good few feet between them nonetheless. He looked out over the water. Taking in a deep breath, he could taste the snow on the air. No doubt about it, Vinay del Zexay would be blanketed in white by the morning.
A flash of blue caught his eye. Smiling, he was amused to note that the True Water Rune was forecasting the weather, as well as his captain. He tried not to think about it, though. Every time he saw the rune, he was painfully reminded that Lady Chris was...immortal now.
He looked up at her question. Shying away, he crossed his arms tightly over his chest. Grinning like a foolish schoolboy, he tossed his head to push back a few strands of his messy blonde hair that had fallen in his face.
"What, are you surprised?"

"Stop trying to flirt with your actions, they're not working." Chris deadpanned before laughing slightly, looking over at Borus for a few moments before scooting over next to him. "I'm not all that surprised that you were drinking. To tell the truth, I'm more worried for you than anything. There's no war, no battles, everybody's getting ready for Christmas. Shouldn't you be at home with your family instead of in a bar?"
Chris turned to watch him a little before turning back to the water. Already, the snow was starting to fall and it was only a matter of time before that snow came down to reach them. "It's pretty... the first snow before Christmas..."
