What is your opinion on the series? Mine is that it has a great story line, yet it still gives you the wonder of what's going to happen next. And when you're done watching it, you're saying "I want more!"

I agree, also it is the most original anime I have seen, including the manga.

`Sharingan Koishii Wow, so many people voted Lucy xD. I voted her too. She is so badass! mrgreen Agreed, Lucy is the coolest. I love the anime, I had never seen it or even heard of it till I ordered the complete collection. Got it 3 days ago and have already watched it all twice. Great story, beautiful art, so sad, and awesome characters. I liked Nyu too she was cool and Mariko because she was so sedistic. The anime keeps me wanting more and more and more and more and more.

I just started reading it this week. I fell in love with it. I still need to read the rest of the manga *has read up to chapter 79* and I'm going to watch the anime when I have time. This has all been online so far, but I'm planing to buy the manga and DVDs when I can. Tis worthy of my shelf.
My favorite character is Bando. I went from wanting to see him die to having him be my favorite. haha.

I started watching elfen lied a few days back out of curiosity on the computer now I'm hooked but my mom will flip if she sees elfen lied because of the all the gore and nudity.
my favorite characters are lucy and nyu.
least favorite character is yuka because she is an attention whore and always wants to be around khouta.
I want to read the manga but don't know where to find it.

*Used to watch some of those old 50s & 60s sitcoms*
*ahem* Anyway. Lucy's split personality intrigues me. Her badass attitude is very addictive, too. But I'm not fond of her other personality, Nyuu. I guess she just reminds me of this childish *coughretarded* friend I have.
About the show as a whole ... I want more. Dx I haven't liked an anime this much since I watched Mai HiME last summer. It gives me many deep thoughts to chew on, and I admire that in a show.
It also gave me some very creepy, yet satisfying thoughts ... that's one thing I don't like about it... I think I liked the badassery a little too much xD
