Hey all you lost fans out there. I decided to start this shipper thread so that we could discuss favorite couples/could be couples/characters you want to hook up for whatever reason you choose. I'm sure everyone has a favorite ship on this show commence the discussion and fawning over certain couples **cough** Charlie and Claire **cough**
Couples that have been hinted at on the show or established on the show(basically the major ones I guess. Any others mention and I'll add them, and after some input I'll add a list of couples that people want to see as well but haven't happened):

Claire's not going crazy, unless being female and pregnant is crazy.
It's kind of annoying that the writers included three available girls (Kate, Claire, Shannon) for the eight boys (Jack, Sawyer, Hurley, Charlie, Locke, Boone, Michael, Sayid). I'm surprised that there isn't more fighting going on about people hooking up.

There will be eventually. I mean, there's the tension between Sun and Michael...and then the whole S/K/J triangle and then there's Claire and Charlie and that leaves Shannon who could be another plot as far as romance goes. She hasn't had any real scenes with another guy apart from Boone so we don't have any romantic potential with her so far...unless Sawyer calling her sticks is an indicator...

Maybe the experience of being stranded on the island will allow Shannon to see past physical appearance and she'll end up falling in love with Hurley. It's possible. xp
I'm a fan of the Claire and Charlie relationship, but I'm really hoping that Michael and Sun don't take their attraction any farther, because I think that Walt would somehow get hurt if his father and Jin got into a fight over a woman, because the last time that Jin attacked Michael, it kind of looked, to me, like Jin was more than willing to hit Walt out of the way, too.
As for the Sawyer/Kate/Jack triangle, I'm not really a fan of any of those characters, but Sawyer and Kate are much more suited to each other than Kate and Jack; Jack seems to want to settle down and forget about the rest of his troubles (the island obviously isn't a good place to start... sweatdrop ), but Sawyer and Kate both have troubled pasts and may or may not be on the run from the law, so they could Bonnie and Clyde around the world. It'd be fun. biggrin
For some reason I kept thinking, last episode, that Sayid and Danielle were going to get together... neutral Maybe I'm crazy...

Well, I kinda got that vibe too, but I think it's just because she hasn't seen anyone in a very, very long time. I'm glad that she didn't join the main group for the sole reason that she had a gun and ammo. If that had entered the group, it would have created a huge power imbalance for whoever had it, and that would lead to jealousy, mistrust, and (hopefully not) murder. I do wish she'd join, though, because she looks so sad. sweatdrop

Well, I think that maybe Sayid will use her as his secret weapon for later on in the series, like if they ever need help Sayid will go to find Danielle, and she'll be kind of like a reserve member of the castaway club.
Otherwise, I don't really want to see her join, either.

I don't think that the writers would have Kate and Sayid shipping if there's already all that Kate/Sawyer action and Kate/Jack action on the side. It'd get to the point where everyone'd be making jokes about how Kate wants to have sex with everyone on the island. xd
