Hi I was wondering if any of you have tarot decks. If you could describe the tarot deck. And what kind of layouts you use. And how to do them.

I have two decks. The Rider Deck, the one based off the Rider-Whaite (I can't spell). and the Da Vinci Deck. I use the celtic cross the most and 9 out like 11 or 12 times, it's right on. my fav so far in my rider deck. the colors are way more vibrant.
One of the best sites ever for learning tarot!

I have the manga tarot deck and I love it. I mostly use the celtic cross but my mother and I are learning together so I am learning new spreads so when I find a new spread I like I usually practice it until I get comfortable with it.
You can also buy books on tarot from a local bookstore some of them might have tarot spreads you could try. Also if your library has a hold system you can put books on tarot on hold and then pic them up that way. And of course there is always the internet.

I have the Celtic Dragon Deck. The cards are beautiful. I usually use the Celtic Cross layout, but will occasionally use others.

I have 3. The radiant Rider-Waite, Tarot des Visconti (sooo beautiful and medievil!) and the deck from "tarot the complete kit". I go the quick and easy route. 3 cards - Past, present, future. Or I'll do three sets of; Past: Good/bad Present: Good/bad Future: Good/bad (a card is drawn for good and bad of each)
That probably makes no sense to anyone but myself but I just wanted to give you an idea of what other people use.

I have The Alantis Tarot. I do not use them much. I have the Rider cards... of course, all newbies need them. And my favorite deck: I have the Vampire Tarot. I use a four card spread that you are required to ask a question.
EDIT/:
O yeah and my mom recently donated me her unused Medieval deck. I have yet to explore them or attach my energy signature to them.

wow eek people like have more than one deck. Dont you need to adapt to your cards. And use one deck at a time. But I have a simple new age deck. Very simple very clean. Its a mega mini kit tarot. But it works so well. I use a simple spread. 4 cards.

My favorite deck is the Revelations Tarot because the artwork is so beautiful. This deck is unique in the way the art work reflects both the up right and reversed meanings of the cards (if that is how you read the cards, if not this deck may not be for you).
I also have the Radiant Rider-Waite deck, a variation of the original a twist on the artwork. Mainly just brighter colors and different style of lines. My third deck is the Celtic tarot.
As for spreads, the quickest is the three card spread, typically used for past, present and future, thought there are many variations. But if you want something a little more in depth, the classic Celtic Cross spread is perfect.

I've got four different decks and I use each of them differently. For example, I tend to use the Witch's tarot for divination in ritual, while the Rider-Waite deck gets saved for your more mundane fortune telling. The Celtic Book of the Dead deck is rarely used because it has some very powerful and not widely understood connections, and it mostly used to contact the dead. And then, of course, the Lover's tarot is used to divine about relationships.
Each deck responds to a different layout best. The Celtic cross is the old stand by, but there's also the Wheel of the Year layout and the Archway layout. I actually have a book that features over 300 tarot layouts and uses. It all depends on what you're looking to divine, I suppose.
