Yep, time to start it to collect and collate information xd Wow! I said that in the Torchwood version :O This will include Christmas Special discussion as that counts as the next series ... I guess xd The filming on the Christmas Special starts this/next week I think I read, which means that the following rumor will be defined as true or false soon! Kylie Minogue! We've all heard it, but she is most likely in the Christmas Special! But! What about Martha? Martha has a reduced role in the next series, she wont be in every episode. Apparantly she is tired of loving the doctor and him not treating her the same, so she doesn't spend as much time with him. But, she's in Torchwood biggrin Good times and Bad Times razz Article time biggrin Le Series 4 ArticleI'm expecting there to maybe be a little bit of a thing at the end of this series, like there was with Doomsday, but maybe not. Maybe we have to wait until Children in Need to get a sneak peek razz

Quote: BBC News have reported that a new companion will be joining the TARDIS for next year. Alex Stanger on BBC3's 60 Seconds news programme at 8:00pm said: "Not one but two assistants for Doctor Who in the next series. Freema's going to miss a few episodes so that the Time Lord can fit another companion into his TARDIS." There was no mention of who would play the role, but on the commentary for Last of the Time Lords Russell T Davies mentioned a major announcement to be made on Monday. Watch the media closely!

She's returning to doctor who in the middle of the series after three episodes of Torchwood, possibly running in to the Doctor in Cardiff.
The rumor at the moment of the next companion is Tom Ellis, who played Milligan in Last of the Time Lords. I don't think this would be a bad choice, since he wouldn't have died, because of the time reversal (as we saw at the end of it when Martha was on the phone to him)
This could lead to Martha jumping on him when she returns and him going "Who are you?"
The BBCi site says the new companion will be revealed shortly!

The BBC has released the information on the 4th series companion, and it's not a new one either! They have revealed that the companion for the 4th series will be ... drum roll please!
DONNA NOBLE! Played by none other than Catherine Tate. We all knew she wasn't going to stay out of the TARDIS forever. I guess it's a pity it's a woman, but oh well sad Maybe David requested it would be her as they've worked together? XD
Here's what Russel said!
"Catherine was an absolute star in The Runaway Bride and we are delighted that one of Britain's greatest talents has agreed to join us for the fourth series,". "Viewers can expect more ambitious storylines and a whole host of guest stars in 2008.".
So, they usually have Star Appearences in Episode 12. The droids in the first series, Derek Acorah and others in series 2, and then the Vote Saxon things in Series 3, but I guess this means outside of that! Awesome >.< They wont be playing themselves, I wouldn't have thought!
The first series opening episode was called "Rose". The third series was called "Smith and Jones" and now we have a new companion, what could it be? Here are my thoughts!
A Noble Deed/steed (Steed 'cause Arthur might be back ... the horse was called Arthur right?) Donna Noble Cause ( wink Don A Noble Cause razz )

My RE teacher told me about Donna being back this afternoon. I believe my reaction was like this:
'What? No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. They can't bring her back! No!'
I then sat in silence for the rest of the afternoon hoping it wasn't true.
I wouldn't have minded Milliagan, he was quite cool. I wanted a man!
My dad pointed out that whenever it's been two companions, it's almost always been a man and a woman. It's been true so far in the new series'. I dunno about the old ones though cause I haven't seen them yet smile

Well, from what I can think of at the moment, a woman almost always serves a longer term than a man (everyone is beating Jack and Mickey's record at the moment, along with that dude from the first series where the Dalek was in prison)
Sarah Jane was shown alongside that man ... Harry I think it was. He came in after Sarah I think and left before her. Then there was Adric who died I think. There is hardly ever a male companion, and when there is, the woman lasts longer sad
Of course, back then if the Doctor only had a Male Companion, people would think "Why is he only keeping male company" and back then homosexuality wasn't as well accepted. A Man will most likely always be accompanied by a woman in the TARDIS unfortunately sad
Oh ... no new news yet xd

Quote: Various news services are reporting a rumour that American film icon Dennis Hopper is in talks to make an appearance in Doctor Who next year, probably as a villain. According to an insider, talks have been going on for a while, but Hopper's schedule is proving very difficult to work out. The unnamed source reports that "Dennis is a big fan of the show and bosses are really keen to get him on board." As always, treat this news as only what it is at the moment -- a rumour -- until official word is announced by the BBC. I have no idea who he is. But, some rumours are saying he is going to play the Master rolleyes I don't think so, it'd be too early to bring the Master Back. The Rani on the other hand ...

I went on to Doctor Who Online this morning, and my was I SHOCKED at one of the news items!!! It isn't confirmed (and probably wont happen until Series 5, since all writers for Series 4 are chosen) but J.K Rowling was offered the chance to write a story for Doctor Who, and she denied it because she was busy finishing the final book at the time, however, now she has the time she would be delighted!!! AWESOME biggrin Quote: Could the world-famous author of the Harry Potter novels be headed to Doctor Who? According to a recent ITV regional news interview with JK Rowling, she was asked if the rumours were true about being approached to write and episode of Doctor Who. Rowling stated the reports were true, and that she was flattered, but at the time she was too busy writing the final Harry Potter book. She then went on to state that she may do one now that the Harry Potter books are finished.

Doctor Who doesn't believe in MAgic, 'member. Illusions, "The Power of Words", No Magic xd
One thing is for sure, it'll be written for both Adults AND Children xd She writes that way the best.

I wouldn't have minded Milliagan, he was quite cool. I wanted a man! You pretty much echoed my reaction to the news. Hmph. Bring on Milligan. *sets Weeviles onto Donna* she was just unfunny, and useless. Am not impressed about next season. No Jack, Donna being back, and Martha returning half way through the series. Just bloody well leave already, Martha. Get some new blood, for gods sake. Or at least return the only companion in the new series who's actually felt like they knew what they were doing (Jack). Am teetering dangerously toward the "I just don't care anymore" line.

:O A Surprising possible Cameo appearance in the series :O Quote: ANI is reporting that Doctor Who producers are keen to get former British PM Tony Blair in for a cameo on Series Four of Doctor Who. "Everyone knows Blair did The Simpsons and has appeared with Catherine Tate who is the new companion for the Doctor. So we're sure he'd be more than open to the offer of a cameo on the show," a BBC insider said.

Return of the Ood in - Planet of the Ood! Quote: One of the New Series' most popular monsters, the Ood, are scheduled to reappear in the Fourth Series, according to the Times Online and confirmed on the Official Site. The Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna (Catherine Tate) will encounter the fearsome aliens in an episode called "Planet of the Ood". Show runner Russell T. Davies commented: "We're delighted the Ood are making a welcome return to Doctor Who. They were last seen falling into a black hole back in series two and we think it's only fair for the viewers to find out what the Ood have to say for themselves. Donna is certainly in for a shock." According to the article, the episode will delve into the Oods' origins. No word yet on when in the series this episode occurs. Also another article at this link! HERE'S THE OOD!

I swear, they have a hat of old characters, and then pick three names out of the hat to determine who will be coming back.
'Okay, so this series will feature..Donna!...The Ood! and...*insert returning character here*'
I bet they'll announce the inevitable return of the last dalek next. But at least then we won't ever see them again (hopefully. It is getting ridiculously old now. Why can't we have a series without the Daleks?)
