You will have three days to complete a course. If you feel you can do better, you can try again, but you must wait 12 (Real time) hours before trying again. However you're only allowed to do it three times, and only your last time is counted. There will be six courses to take, but this includes your introduction.
Each course will count as 10 points, this way no one can pick favorites. If one teacher gives you a three and another gives you nine, I'll see the differences and check it out, as well as sometimes teachers grade harder than others. I am hoping this will lessen the differences when having 65 points max (My decision is worth 5 extra points at the end, not enough to bump up anyone a lot, but enough break some ties) To make it more competitive I'll probably have a status report every 2 courses, so you don't know which teacher gave you what, but know how you're fairing out. It'll let you know if you're on the right track or not as well. There will only be one after the first course and introduction, the second is after the second and third course. The final courses will than have the top 10-15 (depends on how many people sign up really) analyzed by the judges to pick their nominees and I will cast my final say so in it as well. Once we get the 5 winners, we'll let you all know. After that, those who failed can continue on their daily lives, go to bars, and have fun doing what not, and than I'll continue the courses with the five that remain, although they too can go to bars and what not, and having fun. Their training will not last too much longer before I let them out into the world itself. Thus once that happens, more bars, taverns, ports, and other stuff will start to open up, and that's when exploration becomes an option.
So if you have not noticed, I am trying to make this as realistic as possible. I could so easily do first come first served, or just pick my friends, but I want you all to work through this, and get dedicated to your character, feel the victories and the losses. This dedication is what this guild, and this RP is all about.
For those who will brave these trials, I appreciate you, and hope you all do well. Although there will only be five winners, all of you are true winners for trying something new. Enjoy.
Additional note, this is where I will be putting up the status of everyone. So check up here every so often, as well as if you have any questions about the aviation school, please ask them here.
