A clearing in the canopy revealed the blue. Clouds could be seen over head moving fast and frequently. It was almost fantasy like how they gently swayed through the sky through the canopy. Light shown through holes of the canopy giving the woods new life as it reached across the lands.
A light blue and white wolf threaded these woods. Through the canopy as he jumped from tree to tree, his sash flapping in the wind as he jumped giving him an almost unreal look. Trent could move as free as the wind through his forest. He loved the woods so much and hated to leave them often. Though once every while he would make a round trip around Dacaiana. Though this wolf was always happy to return to the safe warmth of the sacred tree.
Today, however, Trent was exploring like he used to as a pup. When he would jump from branch to branch pretending to be a mighty warrior of the pack. Now that he was the alpha, by default almost, he really was a great warrior who jumped from branch to branch.

The warm sun drifted through the canopy leaves, warming brightly colored fur. Phoenix stared up through the gaps at the sky from his treetop perch. White toes and claws curled around the branch for added support as he thought away.
'What colors will I use...' He thought to himself as she pondered the fireworks to himself. His first instinct was to go with red. He saw it everyday in his fur, and it was by far his favorite color. Shaking his head Phoenix let the thoughts of fireworks drift from his mind. With that, he stood on his branch looking out across the forest.
Perking his ears up Phoenix thought he hear something. "A flapping sound?" He muttered to himself slightly confused by the noise, not recognizing the sounds. With a shrug he hopped from his high perch to a lower branch. Stopping to listen to the sound again he looked around trying to figure out what it was.

Emerging from the leaves of the canopy, the white and light blue wolf leaped out almost seeming like a jumping fish leaping out of water. His sash followed behind as it flapped through the winds. Trent was used to having the tree tops to him self. Many wolves did not know that Trent could be playful, not even really those that were close to him. One of his secrete passions being playing through the canopy of the forest.
He paused, nose wiggling. Catching the scent of another being in the woods. A scent of a wolf. This high up in the woods? Though at the same time he was not too surprised. Many wolves could climb tree's, just few came so high up with out purpose.
Yellow and white eyes widened as he spotted Pheonix. A red wolf who seemed to have been deep in thought. Curious, Trent thought.

When the flapping noise stopped he frowned. Shaking his head and closing his blue eyes. The noise seems to have stopped...' He thought to himself his white tail swooshed side to side. Rapping his white toes in the tree branch for a moment he opened his eyes once again.
Wrinkling his nose he smelled another wolf amongst the trees. Grinning he quickly gazed around know that they could not be too far. After a moment of looking he spotted something black and gold amongst the leaves. With it he also spotted a light blue and white wolf. 'I should have know that the flapping was coming from Trent.' She thought to himself shaking his head again.

Trent gave a smile at the red wolf. Part of him hoped that he had not scene him playing through the tree tops. Maybe he did not know Trent had been playing. It was best just to drop it and not ask Pheonix. He did not want word to get out that he was goofing off. Alpha's had to be leaders. Playing was not something they did, even more so if they were just playing with them selves.
"Nice day," Trent said looking up at the sky as clouds passed by over head. That was all he said before leaping closer to Pheonix. He was not next to him but close enough to him to have a decent conversation. He was a tad curious as to what he was up here doing.

"Good day to you as well Trent." Phoenix said nodding his head slightly. "I had been wondering where that flapping sound was coming from. I didn't expect to see you up this high in the trees." He swooshed his tail before sitting down on the branch. Might as well be more comfortable if he was going to talk to Trent. Didn't want to have to worry about balance.
Gazing up at the sky through the leaves a smile spread across his maw. Images of fireworks in the night sky danced across his vision. The thought of the upcoming festival had him excited. He was already planning, though a good chat with Mr. Mistoffelees was in order.

Trent gave a tilt of his head to Phoenix. He was a wolf one step ahead of the rest. Taking his duties seriously. This made Trent happy. This years festival was sure to be a hit. Of course he would have to have his defenses up even during the festival.
"What do you have planned?" Trent asked. He had noticed that Phoenix was looking up at the sky. Probably in visioning the fire works show for this years festival. Trent was pretty sure that was what he was doing at least.

Shaking his head violently, Phoenix pulled himself from his visions. "Oh the fireworks?" He said as he pulled himself back to reality. "I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, isn't that half the fun of seeing them?" He said with a sly smile. "I don't want to ruin it for you Trent. Though it is going to be something really big."

Trent nodded in agreement with Phoenix. It was never fun to ruin a surprise. He had faith that what ever Phoenix had planned it was going to be flashy and awesome.
"Have you and Misto been talking?" Even though Misto was still young he was a cleaver pup. Almost seemed that he was magical with some of his stunts he pulled.
A small breeze passed through the canopy giving the wolves a bit of a small relief from the heat. It gave the canopy a ghostly appearance as if it had come to life on its own. Moving gently, swaying as the wind passed by.

"No not yet. Though I'm sure he has some great ideas to add to mine." Phoenix said with a nod. The breeze blew his fur, a few loose bits flying away. "Got to love the heat." He said with a slight laugh. He enjoyed the heat, really. It was only the rain that bothered him, and only because it brought water down with it. "At least it isn't raining." He said with a wide smile as his tail wagged slightly.

Trent's tongue hung out of his mouth some. Panting a bit like most dogs and wolves did when it was hot. The wind was his love, always there and always offering a relief from the heat. Trent always welcomed a breeze with a warm heart. Always thankful for the blessing it bestowed upon them yet staying as mysterious yet ruthless like an assassin coming in from no where.
Trent nodded at this wolves woods even though he much preferred the winter seasons over the summer heat. Past memories of snow falling down upon the ground, watching as the forest floor was transformed into the a crystal lined tundra. Snow was even more mysterious then the wind. Trent still found he would marvel over its glory.
"Yeah," Trent said with a calm and soothing voice, "The rain would most likely bring lightning," He chuckled under his breath a friendly chuckle.
