So yah, the only death note movie left is L, the manga just got finished, and just yesterday the anime.
Any specials, or OVAs coming out?

Aside from the prime-time special airing in Japan, that's it.
Well, I suppose they could expand on the fact that Near has a Death Note now. And that there's bound to be another Kira sometime in the future(Near going KIRA would kill me, though). >_>; But I'm happy it's over.

Covered-Up Boxers Aside from the prime-time special airing in Japan, that's it. Well, I suppose they could expand on the fact that Near has a Death Note now. And that there's bound to be another Kira sometime in the future(Near going KIRA would kill me, though). >_>; But I'm happy it's over. Wait, didn't Near burn the Death Note? Even so, I'd lol if they tried to make another series out of this concept; because it'd never be as good as the first.

I know it'll never happen, but I REALLY wish that they'd expand of the Taro storyline from the pilot chapter. Yes, I'm fully aware that the pilot isn't linked to the series, but I think it would be so cool if they could find a way to make them fit together.

I haven't gotten volume 12 yet, so I'm only going on what people tell me.

I understand why they got rid of the Death Eraser. Not only to make sure the dead stayed dead, but it's existance was illogical. Shinigami live to kill people, literally. Why would they want to restore human life and lose the life they obtained from the person. exclaim Unless it was made as a failsafe, which doesn't seem very shinigami-like.

I'm not sure if this is on topic or not but I read that AdultSwim is trying to obtain licensing to air Death Note.
It's still in the works but there were posts about it on the AdultSwim website. Gimme a little while and I'll see if I can hunt up a good link.
It's not new material but it would definitely be fun to see happen. cool

I think raito probably hid another death note somewhere, he seems like the type with a back up plan... even the author said so in volume 13
