Ok its obvious we all like using computers to play games and other things other wise you wouldnt be reading this... so my question i pose to you all is:

What other hobbies/Interests do you have other then using computers?

I felt like asking because it would be good to get to know you lot better and a great way to start is sharing with the others is by telling and discussing hobbies.... so heres your chance ^_^

I'll go first seeing as it is my topic lol

Other hobbies apart from computers are:

Firestaffing- I have been staffing for about 2 years now, but due to various injuries (not sustained through staffing) I havent been able to staff for bout 9 months which really sucks but I'm getting better slowly so hopefully I will be able to continue staffing.

Scouting- I have been with scouts activly since I was 6 so thats just bout 12 years now. Ive been through all the sections and am currently chairman of my network scout group and assistant scout leader in another group that is running in my city. I just really like the idea of working in teams and helping other people out really, and the camping, I love camping in woodlands, nothing is better then sitting round a nice camp fire with a beer (or other drink depending) with your freinds just chatting and chilling out.

Hanging out with freinds- not much I can really say about this one, Im sure everyone likes to spend time with their freinds so I wont blab on about this.

Collage- I wouldnt say it was a hobby but I enjoy it anyway as it is the place where I met alot of my freinds and spend alot of time with them as well.

My husband and I are computer game enthusiasts, through and through. But I do have a lot of things I'm interested on the side, though nothing particularly social. wink

Roleplaying -- the most social thing I do. We play D&D 3.5 Edition mostly. At the moment, the only game we have is the one I'm running, which is an epic campaign except that the players don't know it yet (the players are discovering the backstory as they progress and what they do will have world-shaking consequences). We would also be playing my husband's campaign, except that two mistakes made in the last 3 minutes of the last session caused a total party kill. gonk It's actually a pretty funny story, so maybe I'll write it in my journal sometime.

Crafting -- I paint miniatures for gaming. I make bead jewelry. I draw a little. I'd like to get into doing Art Clay Silver but that would require buying a kiln.

Most other things I do is try to learn stuff. The most recent projects are learning to speak Japanese and to play the violin. The former has been more succesful than the latter.

Modding XBoxs and upgrading computers. Rarely do I get the chance to do either of them these days.
