So, work, school, wherever you might happen to be, it seems that there is always some program or another blocking access to certain sites. So, why not disable it?

How to do so:
  1. Actuate the Ctrl+Alt+Delete command prompt
  2. Go into the task list
  3. Find "explorer.exe"
  4. Right click on it and click "End process". When given a yes/no prompt, answer "yes". This will cause the taskbar on the bottom of the screen to disappear--don't worry about, it's normal.
  5. Click File -> New Task (Run)
  6. Type in explorer.exe

By restarting the shell, this disables temporarily the security installed on the machine, thus allowing you to access sites that you normally would not be able to otherwise.

Notes:
  • Task manager disbaled? Try this:
    1. Start
    2. Run
    3. Tskmgr
  • Please remember that I have only ever tried this with the Novell Client and do not vouch for its stability with any other security agents.

The teachers at my high school/college would hate me if I ever tried that... and suceeded. Because someone would peer over my shoulder, see what I did, and copy. Then the process repeats until the whole school somehow ends up knowing about it. And that would eventually lead to my eventual mysterious disappearance...
