How to do so:
- Actuate the Ctrl+Alt+Delete command prompt
Go into the task list
Find "explorer.exe"
Right click on it and click "End process". When given a yes/no prompt, answer "yes". This will cause the taskbar on the bottom of the screen to disappear--don't worry about, it's normal.
Click File -> New Task (Run)
Type in explorer.exe
By restarting the shell, this disables temporarily the security installed on the machine, thus allowing you to access sites that you normally would not be able to otherwise.
Notes:
- Task manager disbaled? Try this:
- Start
Run
Tskmgr
- Please remember that I have only ever tried this with the Novell Client and do not vouch for its stability with any other security agents.
