Yup. I admit. I was a Night Elf Druid. I live deep in the wilds of Kentucky USA and I love animals very much. So, the concept of changing into bear sna dtigers and cheetahs sounded like the best thing EVER.
So, I made the noobiest roll and made myself into a female night elf druid. ((Why female? Well, if you had to stare at the back of a character for hours and hours... wouldn't you want it to be kinda cute? wink )) Anyhoo, I was new to WoW, and I'd heard there were a lot of jerks out there.
I didn't even get out of the newbie zone before some 13 year olds were following me around, demanding that I dance for them. Freaking morons. I won a lot of duels, just because my character was female, I think, they didn't fight correctly, or... they just sucked or something. I lost ONCE to a rogue, that was it. THAT got them to leave me alone.
In the upper teens of lvl's, I was constantly harrassed by the SAME paliden, demanding I join his raid party or this or that. I told him not enterested, and eventually had to report him for harrassing me. Never saw him again.
When I got to lvl30, I just started meeting more and MORE mean people, most of them acting like or WERE children. So, I decided to say screw it. I was heading to Horde! Calling up my closest friend on the server (a friend I knew irl from college), I gave him all my money and items, and then deleted that character.

Now I'm Horde. lvl31 Blood Elf Priestess. Everyone on Horde seems so much nicer, I don't know why though.
Any stories about switching from the alli side to the horde? Thoughts on why the horde seems more mature than the alli's are?

Back when I was on Blackhand, I started out as a Tauren Druid. However, my boyfriend at the time and his best friend were Alliance, so I was pressured to switch despite my distaste for the Alliance. I eventually caved and made a Night Elf druid. By the time said druid was level 32, my two friends quit. Well, at that point I had grown to like my NE and stuck with her to level 62... at which point I realized the only reason I liked the Alliance was because of the Night Elves. That wasn't reason enough, so I switched servers and went back to Horde where I felt I truly belonged.
I can't say Alliance on Blackhand were nasty jerks or anything, I actually met a lot of really nice people. On Whisperwind (where my current Tauren Druid is), I did not make any Alliance characters until only recently when my guild had a naked NE race to Stormwind. The Alliance people were JERKS for the most part. Seriously, I realize we were asking for it running around as naked Night Elves, but it was nuts. I had to block one guy that wouldn't stop harassing us. Of course, I won't say all of them were bad, some of them were actually quite pleasant. Even still, it seems to me that Alliance are jerks... like that dwarf hunter that sat PvP in front of me while I was being mobbed by furbolgs and laughed at me. e_e I was afraid to use Swipe lest I hit him and go PvP so I ended up having to run away. That b*****d.
Aaanyway, I'm rambling now. Ima shut up. razz

Always horde =D. Maybe one or allies just to mess around while my server is down but thats pretty much it.

my first char was a NE then later switched to horde and found that the experience was better, found better ppl and great guilds

Always a horde.... my boyfriend wouldnt let me be alli even if I wanted to ... said its embarassing xD

I'm Horde for life! From begining to end. Though I must say, the Alliance are mainly jerks(because i did work on my little sister's human warlock with her.) The only Alliance i found to be nice we're the ones i follow around and /hug /love /sexy and so on. Then they come on and tell me I'm awsome, we talk and that's it. My other little sister who plays only Horde also is constantly harrassed IRL from friends of hers whom are Alliance. They say 'Why are you a nasty Troll' or the like. Though they even admit the Alliance is very crule at times.

My first character was an undead rogue. After getting her to 30 or so, my family informs me they're all alliance. So I made a NE drood, who has been level 22 for a year.
I like walking into a town not having to hear about fettishes and Chuck Norris.

Wow, you all startted as NE pretty much... anyways, I started as a Human Paladin. I got him to about lvl 6 then got sick of people constantly begging and just flaming eachother in general chat, so my IRL friend called me up and said "hey, come play horde on my server." so I did, and never had a desire to go back to alliance, I played alliance on my sisters server for a bit, hate it, the groups are incompotent... okay, I have to tell this story about my wonderful alliance instance group.
I was going to be doing Stockades on my 26 Human Warrior. We are all standing there and suddenly our Dreanei Shaman starts asking the WARLOCK is he has IMP SAP. I ignore it for the time, hoping it was some sort of mistake, but she kept asking. So when we get in, on our first group, not only does our healer not heal, just stand there spamming "lol" but our warlock is fearing everything (even after being asked repeated times not to) and out Shaman was claiming that she was going to sheep things... it pained me, I havn't played alliance since.

Long story, online friend leveld, he switched I switched, allience annoyed me. Made troll hunter, loved him... loved my pet tiget named Fang... uhhh, quit allience. had a 44 night elf rogue befor I deleted him. Now I have a 70 troll hunter in gladiator gear, a 57 tauren moonkin, 51 assassination rogue troll, 20 troll fury warrior on a different server. And I hate allience.

Nope. I'm Alliance to the core. I have a couple Horde toons, but since the people who were urging me to play UP AND QUIT BY THE TIME I COULD *looks at BE*, I rolled Alliance with other friends.
To be blunt, Horde on every server I've rolled on has been worse than Alliance for me. And don't get me started about Horde on my main server, Kael'thas. Bigger batch of whiners I've never seen.
