Buffy woke up and enjoyed that split second of peace when you just forget about all your problems and enjoy the awakening of a new day, a new life, and a new hope. Well when it ended, she was pretty much miserable again. Until she stroked her fingers on Angel's bare chest.
"Angel!" She gasped. He had his shirt off.... She smiled at him innocently. He knew he didn't MEAN to be all sexy and vulnerable, under a tree like this in the morning sun. "See, this is why we shouldn't work together..." She wanted to do nothing more than to give up and to have lusty sex with the vampire. Angel was in a shade, protecting him from bursting to dust, but it wasn't very good protection and he had already started to sizzle a bit. "Oh oh...." Buffy grabbed Angel's jacket and covered him up. This startled the vampire and he was now wide-awake instead of half-asleep.
Buffy sighed. It was going to be hard traveling with Angel around when there was direct sunlight to be concerned about. Buffy looked up at Giles. "Guys? Are you up? I know it's a little early...but I want to leave soon. And while we're at it, we need to think of a way for Angel not to go all poof-y on us." Buffy smirked to herself, if Spike was here he would probably say 'Yeah good luck with that one, pet.'
She couldn't believe she was missing Spike. But she was, just a tiny bit.

(Solidify, help me! I'm all confused and stuff. Is this the second chapter of the same RP? Is it still non-canon? Do we have a Spike yet? HELP!)

(It's like a new episode of the 'show', so yes it's technically the second chapter of the RP we just did but more like a continuation of it. There's no Spike yet, but he can show up if you want....)
(We also need more people participating than just me and JamesMarsters guys)

"Dig a hole," muttered Giles in his sleep, hand over his eyes to pretend that it wasn't light enough to be awake. His neck still retained the puncture wounds, but he had bandaged them with a swath of fabric from his sleeve, wearing it in the manner of a World War I flying ace. (Go ahead, make Snoopy jokes!)

((hey guys i'm back now!!! florida was awsome. anyway on with the show))
Willow woke with a start. She had been dreaming about the separate reality where she and Xander were vampires. She shook her head feverously, 'I couldnt possibly know what happened,' she thought. 'That was a separate dimention.'
Willow blinked away the thought and got up from her cozy leaves on the ground, and streched. Another day, and they still had to find a way to stop the vampires from making Dawn their queen.

Giles rubbed his eyes, sitting up with a groan. Smelling something beginning to smoke, he opened his eyes, hoping for breakfast. And I thought I expected too much of them to hope that they would cook for themselves. he thought proudly, before realizing that the smell was, in fact, scorching vampire.
Jumping to his feet, Giles looked around for something to save Angel with. "Car. Now." he ordered, as he pulled off his jacket to cover the windows. They had almost made it to Cleveland, packed in the car to allow Angel to come with them after his fight with Wolfram and Hart. If he was going to turn to ash now, they'd wasted perfectly good car space this entire time.

"I can't believe we had to steal a car" Buffy mused, "But desperate times call for desperate cliched phrases..." She made sure her hair was pretty for the next battle and sighed.
"I know she wasn't really my sister, but it still felt like she was. And she was...is... a part of me. I-I can't accept that this is the end. We have to turn her back. By whatever means necessary. You guys said yourself I lost my child-like idealism. But in the end that was the only way we were able to stop Glory, and it's the only way we can stop these new uppity vampires that think they can take over the world."
Buffy knew that if she jumped in a portal a second time though, it would just be a death wish. Not a death gift. Feeling a sense of strange power, Buffy looked up toward the heavens. "You hear that, guys! I just lost my sister and I'm still here. What else you got huh?"

"Never a wise question to ask." said Angel, his voice muffled from inside the car.
"I realize this is hardly the time for philosophical discussion, but you have every right to care about Dawn. She may not b-biologically be your sister, but she's earned the privilege, don't you think?" said Giles, cleaning his glasses, and then looking into Buffy's eyes with a small, restrained smile.
"And I quite agree with Angel. We have enough challenges ahead without making any ourselves. Now let's try and get some more rest before the sun goes down."

"Which should be in about... point 7 seconds. And its a full moon." Willow casually threw out from the passanger seat, while staring out the window.
Silence
She looked at everyone who was staring at her waiting for the answer to the question she already knew was gonna be asked. "Oz. I guess I'm still on his clock. Kinda stuck with me." She sighed and leaned against the window again, watching the rocks and plants fly by. She had already lost everyone she loved. Whether as a friend, lover, or brother. Oz was gone goddess knows where, Tara was gone perminently, Kennedy and she decided to split before they split missions, and Xander... well, he was okay somewhere. Willow knew it. She could feel it. Hopefully that feeling would become stronger soon. She could really use a shoulder to cry on.
Loking to the sky as it changed from deep orange to a light pinkish purple, Willow in a breathy quiet voice, said to noone in particular. "Xander.... where are you?"

"Willow? Thought control?" reminded Giles, as irritated as his British restraint could be. He had seen an image of Oz and Willow kissing, which, at least, was better than seeing Tara's death, but still cause to clean his glasses with his non-driving hand. It didn't work: apparently mental images were independent of visual acuity. The car pushed ninety miles per hour.
Giles imagined several unlikely things Xander could be doing, but didn't say anything to any of them. Ice cream truck-driving, with free specials to Slayers; talking to Anya's grave for hours at a time; reading comic books and smelling of fruit rollups instead of working on his mission...
