The silence had been quite enjoyable as of late. Peace, quiet and his thoughts were the only things around; the only things that he had been paying attention to, really. It had hit him only recently that perhaps it was too quiet... Perhaps it was too peaceful. Was he... Lonely?
He shook his head slowly, giving his golden mane a light toss before dipping his head down to take a sip from the stream. No, that was foolish. He had gone longer without contact of any sort before. He wasn't begining to feel such silly things as lonliness now. Why would he? The quiet was pleasant. It meant that Crowley was no place to be found.
Peace... And quiet.

She had to get away from her family for a little while and had taken a nice walk down the river. She loved them dearly but some times you just needed to not listen to a bunch of boys bicker. Tossing her mane she trotted down a small stream toward one of her favorite places. There was a spring at the end of the steam and around said spring there were usually fresh green sprouts.
She could treat herself to some while the boys got whatever it was out of their systems. Humming softly she slowed down and watched the water go buy. Sadly with her head down she didn't notice the stallion in her way until she almost ran into him.
"Oh! ... " She danced back a step and couldn't believe her stupidity.

"Oh, heavens! Pardon me, madame!" He had run into others before when he wasn't looking but... Wait. Hadn't he been standing still? He turned his head, glancing at the mare. "Are you alright? You didn't hurt yourself, did you? I'm afraid I'm terrible in a crisis and I wouldn't have a clue as to where to take you or who to fetch... I do hope you didn't harm yourself."

She blinked at the stallion for a minuet and laughed. "I didn't even actually run into you. I'm fine." And it wasn't like running into someone would hurt enough enough she couldn't get back home.
"I should have been paying more attention. I guess i am a little more distracted than i thought." She'd really have to get more alone time if she was going to be walking into things otherwise. Maybe she could take her daughter and Atsila and Kizuka out for some girl time.

"It's quite alright. I should have been more aware of my surroundings as well. I seem to be loosing myself in thought more often than not lately... Perhaps that is a sign that I have been spending far too much time in my own company." He laughed, giving his head a light toss before looking towards the mare. "Perhaps, now that we have that out of the way, I should introduce myself to you properly..."
He straightened himself out, giving his head another toss so that golden curls settled against his neck. He stood tall, gracing the mare with a bright smile. "Good day, Madame. My name is Aziraphale."

He was a wordy one to say the least. "At least you're not spending your time keeping a pile of rowdy boys from causing trouble." The stallion would probably be even more out of it if that were the case.
"Pleasure to meet you Az. I'm Rogue." She bowed slightly and smiled at him. "I didn't interrupt anything did i?"

"Rowdy boys?" His brow lofted for a moment as he gazed at the mare before shaking his head. "No, no rowdy boys but, from time to time, I check in on a suspicious stallion who likes to cause mischief here and there." He snorted softly, trying not to let his thoughts linger on Crowley for too long. He would just wind up flustered if he did that and flustered was not how he wanted to be in front of a lady.
"You did not interrupt anything that was not interruptable." He smiled. "It sounds as though you could use some peace and quiet... Shall I leave you to yourself?"

"No, it's alright. After all you were here first." If she really wanted to get away she could have just turned around and gone back to the river.
"I'm afraid i needed a break from my boys and their father. Too headstrong the lot of them." If it wasn't Dodger and Wylie fighting about something it was Remy and Wylie plotting some sort of 'fun' that usually left her with a headache. She loved the blue lug but he was still him after all.
"A nice quiet conversation might do me some good."

"Ah, yes... The woes of motherhood." He nickered softly. "I have an open ear if you wish to talk; two of them, actually." He always enjoyed hearing stories about families, knowing he would never have one of his own. He didn't desire such things from life... But stories. He liked those; he was a collector of them, of sorts.

"There isn't much to tell. The boys are just far too much like their father" She laughed softly and shook her head. "No, actually one is just like his father. The other got just enough of my good sense that him and his brother don't get along well."
It made for some interesting dynamics when the whole family came together. At least Sedi could usually make it stop but only because he and Wylie got themselves into something every time.

"Sounds as if you could indeed use a break." He laughed, quite glad that this mare seemed far different than the ones he had met previously. This one was attatched.
"Boys will be boys. Where I come from there are brothers who disagree almost constantly with one another... They each do their thing in the name of the heavens and all it does is lead to wretched arguments. I must say that I am glad I am no longer there."

"I love them all dearly but some days i just want to knock all their heads together." She laughed before turning to rub at an itch on her shoulder.
"Brother seem wonderful at that." Arguing about everything just to prove they were right until mama or daddy came over and scolded both of them. "Somehow i get the impression that my boys fighting is different than what you speak of though"

"I'm not so certain... Fights between brothers often have grounds somewhere along the same lines." He nickered softly, lowering his head so that he could take a sip from the stream. "At least with your boys you can hope that they grow weary of it... The brothers that I know? Never will. I've come to believe that, for one reason or another, it is against their natures."

"One can only hope." She knew Wylie and Dodger would have to get over it eventually. As they got older they'd realize that it was stupid and that it was much better to count your brother as a friend. At least that's what she hoped and she'd keep thinking that was going to be the case.

"I am certain that, with a mother such as yourself, your boys will grow up just fine." He nodded slowly. "Sometimes it takes more time than we think we have to overcome differences with one another. A friend and I have known each other for ages and we still bicker like children from time to time...
