Setting
Over the next period of days, no one will be able to post until enough characters have been accepted. So get to making those characters if you want to post sooner.
During the entierty of the roleplay, all of the setting information, such as time of day, will be posted here for referance, okay? ^^

September 25, 2007 - Update 1
Was I ever wrong about how quickly people would post their profiles. Its been about 3 months since this was made.
Let me say this: Depending on how many people post and how often they do this will have an effect on how quickly the time of day moves along. As well, If you break the minimum requirement of 5 sentences per post, I will be infuriated. Also if you move along the setting I will be as well.
If you happen to get a message like: 'Random Event' Than this is a message from the Crew telling you bits and pieces of information that you should add into your posts and that you can tell to anyone you wish within the roleplay. Understand?
Intro
Most people will be posting their intros and I would prefer it if a good portion (over half) of it has to do with before entering the gate. Afterwards, you describe your surroundings. Also, if possible, please don't just post 5 sentences for the intro. I don't think that will begin to satisfy an intro.
If you come through the gate and end up in the Western Castle, than post first in that thread. If you decide to come through the gate in the middle of the Field, specify near which area. Example:
[Field - Near Western Castle]
Setting
Finally, the setting.
It doesn't matter what time of day it could be where your character originates from. It could be night and when they step through the gate it could be dawn. As long as the setting for the world is right, I don't really care if it is night in the world they come from and dawn when they come into the new world.
Day 0 - The First Step
The travelers step into the new world, from various times and places, yet no matter where they come from, the time in the world is the same. Mid Day. The sun up in the sky, shinning brightly down upon the land, bringing warmth in the warm season of summer. The mornings are cold, the days are long and hot and the nights are warm. A soft, humid breeze flows throughout the Field and various areas. The wind kicks up sand in the desert, causing frequent, light sandstorms. Near the lakes and up in the mountains the air is crisp and relatively cold, a good thing for the long days. The forest helps keep a good portion of the sunlight out, yet it is still rather warm underneath the tree tops.
