I really don't know if anyone here has heard of Neal Asher before or read any of his books, but after hearing about his book Cowl a long while back, I finally aquired it a few days back, and it's been a really intersting read. He completely remakes the idea of time travel in the book, as well as introducing organic time machines, the scales of the torbeast, called tors. The main characters are prostitute and a man from the same futuristic society. The books starts off quick and interesting, and keeps the reader enraptured. Speaking of which, I think I'll go back to reading it for a bit. If anyone wants me to explain a bit about Asher's style of time travel, please ask.
