Anyone have some good riddles you've just been dieing to share? Look no further and post away, but make sure to answer other people's riddles as well. I shall start off with a few that I know and let you take off from there.

1. I have many eyes but cannot see. What am I?

2. How far can you go into a forest?

3. A farmer has a chicken, a fox, and a bag of chicken feed. He wants to cross a river but only has one boat that can only carry him and one other item/animal. The fox will eat the chicken and the chicken will eat the feed if left together. How is this accomplished?

4. Tall I am young, short I am old. What am I?

1.) A potato.

2.) Halfway because then you'd be coming out.

3.) Take the chicken across to the other side first. Then come back for the fox. Drop off the fox and put the chicken back in the boat. Exchange the chicken for the chicken feed, leaving the chicken by his lonesome, and the fox and feed on the other side of the river. Finally, come back for the chicken, and the task is done.

4.) A pencil.

Here's one:

All Correct!

An envelope!

Another: A rooster lays an egg on top of a roof facing both east and west. The west side is at a 150 degree angle and the east is at a 130 degree angle from the center line coming from the sky to the roof. The wind is blowing 30mph east. Which way will the egg fall?

The rooster cannot possibly have laid an egg because male chickens do not do that.

I'm sure the answer is suppose to be none....
But heres a question. If we took a bag of sand and threw one bag of sand in the hole then couldn't we say... suppose it was a 50lb bag... that there is infact 50lbs of sand in the whole...
anyway... here is a bit of a logic endevour and less of a word riddle...
You have in your possession an infinte number of unbreakable, unpickable lkey locks and a single key for each lock. You also have as main boxes as you need, each fitted with as many fixtures for locks as you need. Lastly, you also have a certian valuble item that must be sent to a friend. But your mailcarrier is a theif and you cannot deliever the object in person. If you send the item in a unlocked box the theif will take it. If you send the item in a locked box, and the key in a unlocked box then the theif will steal the key and then unlock the box. If you send items lacking value(just for example: an empty box. or a box contianing an empty box) , the theif will not take them.
How do you send the item so that it safely reaches your friend given only what you have?
and What is the minimum number of locks keys and boxes that must pass through the theif's hands in order for the tiem to pass safely?
