This is my favorite piece from Studio Art class ^______^
It's called a Tempra Batik
That means you draw something in pencil, paint it with Acrylic Paint... then paint the whole thing over in one solid color (in my case black) of Tempra Paint. Then you wait a day, wash it off and look at the masterpiece ^_^
The title is "Crazy" and the main subject is Criss Angel:Mindfreak, and has the line "Maybe I'm crazy" from his song "Procreation"

Another Studio Art project, this is my Watercolor Dragon!
That means... it's a Dragon... painted with watercolor paints...
I really like it because of the different dragons in it...
The runes say "THE DEMON LIVES INSIDE YOU..."
The green dragon lost it's eyes when it was scanned... they were darker green...

Matching Venetian Mask and Paper Mache Bowl!
They were part of a project for my Ceramics and Sculpture class that actually spanned two projects with one inbetween. We had to make a mask or bowl, do the other project and then finish with either a mask or bowl, the one we didn't do first.
The Mask:
It's supposed to be kind of a Phoenix as a tribute to Damian, because it's supposed to be something about us or something our life revolves around. I made this before I made my bowl, and its made of Plaster of Paris, Acrylic paint, feathers, ribbons and one red rhinestone.
Next year, I have to make the Bane based one I promise Kashi, then the teacher never had "time for me to make it"... rawr...
The Bowl:
I made this after my mask, with the same "life reloves around it" theme, but I wasn't quite sure how to make a bowl resemble a Phoenix... so I just made it match my mask at first. Later though, I cut and curled the edges, then stripped the regular red paint off and used six different reds, four oranges one pink and two yellows for the paint job to make it look like fire. After that I added the wings and the gem on the indide to make it match again. the bowl is made of newspaper, paper mache glue, Acrylic paint, feathers and one red rhinestone.
I should make a Bane based bowl too.
Interestingly enough... The guy in my C&S class that looks rediculously close to Damian wasn't there for the critics of either Phoenix/Damian based projects... weird...

Suprizingly... This is NOT a Damian based project. This was actually the first project (not including the nilla wafers with colored frosting version of a color wheel) for Studio Art, which began at the beginning of the first semister, but Damian didn't come around until mid-terms O_o This is just a random Phoenix Bird style, see? Not Damian. It's kinda weird that I'd do something Phoenix related before I even thought about Damian constantly so much, especially because I love water... I was never big on the "Beast/Bird of Fire" that is the Phoenix before Damian...
This is made out of just black paper, which is cut with an X-Acto knife to have lots of negative space which is then all filled with finely cut pieces of tissue paper to give a (poor) look of Stained Glass... I never thought any of them looked like stained glass, but they are kinda cool. I was pissed when I got to my last piece, the top-right corner, because it was the last day and we were out of the blue I had been using stressed

Blake
This is a coil pot dedicated to my late friend Blake. It's a cobra kind of morphing out of a charmer's basket. If you could see a different part, you could see where it starts changing. It's a Diamond-Backed Cobra because his brother, Drake's favorite animal is a Diamond-Backed Rattlesnake, but whenever I say anything about Blake or Drake, all I see is a cobra. I had also not been able to find anythnig about a Diamond-Backed Rattlesnake until recently, which is weird considering the dates on some of the pictures... Elso, me and Kashi have found a little Garder Snake in the place where we mad Blake's memorial, and have found it multiple times on various occasions, the first being when we were forcing her ex. (The one Bane's eating in Kashi's drawing) to help clean it out, and I went ahead because we.......... spark off each other... badly... and Kashi wanted his help, so we had to get him there before he saw I was there too. When I was hiding I found the snake curled up in plain sight and it didn't look asleep, so I thought it was dead. come to find out, it was alive, and we named it Blake due to the place, his brother's favorite animal and how well he and his brother got along, the fact that he didn't slither away any of the times we caught him and the number of times we caught him) on different days)
We haven't seen him since fall though... it makes me sad...
This coil pot for my Ceramics and Sculpture class is made out of 4-5 pounds, yes, POUNDS of grey clay, which reaches a hight of 10 inches off the table. The colorings are all over glazes; Dark Yellow (the only yellow we had) for the charmer's basket and snake's stomach, Forest Green for the called part of the snake, Clover for the snake's eyes, Jet Black for the pupils and white for the shines in his eyes. The inside of the pot is Forest Green like the snake.
