Do you draw anime/manga style of art? Have you made or are making your own manga? Have tried animating stuff in the anime style? Or have you completely just given up hope on mastering the art style that is anime and manga?

I wish I could draw at all, but sadly I am unable to. That is why I am going to a community college right now so I can take a drawing class.

Well, I don't personally call what I draw "manga", but my style does have a lot of Japanese influence in it. (Namely, Pokemon and DNAngel.)
I also have this weird art-noveauish way of outlining characters. I draw the people, then I go around the edges with a thicker pen.
It's interesting, to say the least.

I don't believe that there is an anime or manga "style", but if there is, I certainly don't draw it. Unless there happens to be an anime drawn by five year olds. gonk

Well, anime doesn't really have it's own "style," but most of the stuff I draw is influenced by it. Occasionally, I'll sketch an anime fanart or two, but they usually come out looking fantastic. sweatdrop

Well I didn't really know how to word it exactly how to word. Style, influenced by, each person sees it differently. Yes I draw anime style (or it's infuenced by anime).

I'm fairly above average in art, but I lack the confidence to even attempt to try anything on my own... I'm so worthless.

I doodle more than draw anything with a purpose. I have no attention span...I have so many half sketched incomplete pencil drawings all over my desk... I find manga style to be easier esp. since Ive never had any formal learning with my sketching.
Still, to draw anime/manga style well, you still need the formal background training...

Hi no Neko Well, I don't personally call what I draw "manga", but my style does have a lot of Japanese influence in it. (Namely, Pokemon and DNAngel.) I also have this weird art-noveauish way of outlining characters. I draw the people, then I go around the edges with a thicker pen. It's interesting, to say the least. I do that sometimes :3 Its fun to see what you can do in just B+W My work is heavily influenced by manga style art, I cant really pinpoint exactly what it is though...

Everything I draw is in the anime style, I just can't get a handle on stupid angles and shading... ><

Almost everything I draw is anime/mang "style". And I'm pretty good at it too. I like doing SD drawings. ^^

Yeah, I draw a lot in the anime style. I'd like to do it as a career because I have a lot of ideas swimming around in my head, but I'll prolly end up in digital design or video gaming. sweatdrop
