Ooof! Are we talking classic or new series? Or both?!
Anyway...
Classic Series
1. Remembrance Of The Daleks - 7th Doctor, 5/10/1988 - 26/10/1988 (First I ever saw, so it's got the nostalgia factor and I thought Ace was really cool. The story scared me!) 2. The Caves Of Androzani - 5th Doctor, 8/3/1984 - 16/3/1984 (Highly quotable and shows what some people will stoop to to get what they want - Morgus and the spectrox.) 3. The TV Movie - 8th Doctor, 25/6/1996 (I honestly thought that the series was back properly. Loved Paul McGann as the Doctor, but wasn't so sure about Eric Roberts as the Master.) 4. The Daleks - 1st Doctor, 21/12/1963 - 1/2/1964 (An icon is born.) 5. The Mind Robber - 2nd Doctor, 14/9/1968 - 12/10/1968 (Lovely tale that combatted a lot of production problems, not least Frazer Hines who played Jamie falling ill during the shoot. Ingenious!) 6. The Talons Of Weng Chiang - 4th Doctor, 26/2/1977 - 2/4/1977 (I'm terrified of human looking puppets after this! I loved Professor Litefoot trying to teach Leela etiqutte though!) 7. Trial Of A Time Lord: The Ultimate Foe - 6th Doctor, 29/11/1986 - 6/12/1986 (Final story before the 18 month hiatus. I was very hard pushed to decide which section to use, but this one won for me because of the final confrontation.) 8. Spearhead From Space - 3rd Doctor, 3/1/1970 - 24/1/1970 (The dawn of the Pertwee era, first use of the Autons, first story to be shown in colour... loads of firsts really!) 9. Castrovalva - 5th Doctor, 4/1/1982 - 12/1/1982 (Dawn of the Davison era. Lovely story about trying to find your identity even when it's obvious to everyone except yourself.) 10. The Pyramids Of Mars - 4th Doctor, 25/10/1975 - 15/1/1975 (I love Ancient Egypt, even though the story isn't set there, and you can try your hand at solving the puzzles. Sarah looked amazing in her costume.)
New Series
1. The Girl In The Fireplace (Beautiful. I'm fascinated by that time period, and this story makes me cry. The perfect Doctor Who story.) 2. The Lazarus Experiment (Be careful what you wish for. Lazarus wasn't.) 3. Bad Wolf/The Parting Of The Ways (Goodbye to the Ninth Doctor, hello to the Tenth and a brilliantly witty look at TV game shows. Bitingly satirical.) 4. Human Nature/The Family Of Blood (Heartbreaking. I cried loads at this.) 5. The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit (What do you really believe in? The Doctor has his beliefs tested to the max. An amazing exploration of religion.) 6. Blink (The scariest concept yet!) 7. The Christmas Invasion (The dawn of the Tennant era. He's not rude, or ginger, but he is a fan.. fanta... brilliant Doctor!) 8. Army Of Ghosts/Doomsday (Goodbye Rose. That's all that needs to be said.) 9. Rose (Dawn of the Eccleston era, and a highly important episode. This had to introduce the concept of the show to a more or less entirely new audience and did so with a flourish!) 10. The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances (Hi Jack! He might be flexible when it comes to dancing, he might be able to win you over with his smile, but when it comes to the Empty Children, he forgot to set his alarm for Volcano Day!!)

Daang, girl! You are insanely thorough with that list! mrgreen
I can't include anything Season 3..so here goes:
1. Girl in the Fireplace - the music/lines with the Reinette/Doctor scenes made me cry, and it was amazing! The period dress was also perfect. 2. Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways - excellent way to (tearily) pass the baton and get in some good laughs at the same time. 3. Father's Day - It was such a good storyline on how you can't go back and change the past, while reminding the Doctor why he can't go back and save his people. I cried so hard watching this episode (how could you forget it, katy?!) 4. Christmas Invasion - David Tennant's debut as the Doctor. 'Nuff said. mrgreen 5. The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances - introduction to Jack, great storyline, and eerily scary monsters reminiscent (to me) of something out of Twilight Zone. 6. Impossible Planet/Satan Pit - I agree with katy, an amazing exploration of religion, plus one of the few times they left Earth, (alternate realities don't count), with great storyline 7. Army of Ghosts/Doomsday - the first in the new series to say goodbye to a companion, and the beach scene was incredibly sad 8. Rose - the (re)start of the show and it covered all the basics very well! 9. School Reunion - brings in some old friends and shows what life is like after knowing the Doctor and meeting him again. Also, very nostalgic for the Classic fans. 10. Tooth and Claw - Werewolf, ninja monks, and David Tennant with a Scottish accent!

Ceribri 3. Father's Day - It was such a good storyline on how you can't go back and change the past, while reminding the Doctor why he can't go back and save his people. I cried so hard watching this episode (how could you forget it, katy?!) I didn't forget it. It's in my Top 20, but I was only asked for my Top Ten!

AND a lot of the Patrick Troughton stories from the 60s were deleted from the BBC archives, so you'd have a job!

1. Genesis of the Daleks 2. The Caves of Androzani 3. The Deadly Assassin 4. Spearhead from Space 5. Remembrance of the Daleks 6. The Curse of Fenric 7. City of Death 8. The Brain of Morbius 9. Resurrection of the Daleks 10. The Greatest Show in the Galaxy
I'm surprised I listed 3 Dalek stories, since I'm not all that big a fan of them. Not sure where the new series episodes would fall in there... the feel of the stories very different, so it's hard for me to compare them with the old stuff.

I think it's great so many new fans are getting interested in the Classic Series. I was afraid there would end up being a schizm, like there often is in Trek fandom.

I was afraid there would end up being a schizm, like there often is in Trek fandom. I know what you mean but don't worry We new fans like the old I second that!! Aaaaaand my list. A drum roll please... I'm still waiting...okay scrap that: 1.The Empty Child/Doctor Dances {9} (never laughed so much my sides hurt before) 2.The Two Doctors {6&2} (It has my two favourite Doctors in it.) 3.Pyramids of Mars {4} (Awesome. The Doctor dressed up as a mummy haha) 4.Planet of the Spiders {3} (Most Awesome Car/Boat/flying dohicky chases ever!) 5.Snakedance {5} (I now laugh eveytime I see Martin Clunes - he looked so daft) 6.Vengence on Varos {6} (Sil freaked me out... He reminded me of my cousen Terri who is also small... and scary) 7.Time and The Rani {7} (She was the most Awesome Female mastermind ever. BRING HER BACK RTD!!!) 8. New Earth {10} (Loved the Cat Nuns. And Boe. Shows the new series doctors aren't above the "spray-'im-in-the-face-with-yer-knockout-perfume-then-bung-'im-in-the-scary-green-pod-thing") 9.Trial of A Time Lord {6} erm... all of it (Most Excellent, Colin rules, The Scrapyard was pretty evil, The Master had a funky background on that screen thing) 10.The TV Movie {8} (Okay, very fond of 8, read loads of books with him in, Dear BBC, do not let the Americans do Doctor Who again. ever. No offence to Americans I met some very nice ones down the beach who wanted to pet my dog, and heck, John Barrowman turned out fine [you must be doung something right xd ] Grace Holloway must die. Or maybe just have an embarassing accident involving lots of custard and screaming.) *pants* Okay... all done. I wish i could mention all the others I adore (Mostly Tom Baker, Pirate Planet, City of Death, Genesis of the Daleks etc) On a further note I would also mention Castrovalva. It made me feel quite sorry for poor Adric. Then I watched some other episodes and realised just how much of an annoying... twerp he really was.
