I was recently browsing in the Encyclopedia at Animenewsnetwork.com and came across this-http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=1847
It seems that there was an anime series for Shin Megami Tensei called "Devil Children." At first I thought it couldn't have been part of the series (it looks like it's made for children, which most SMT games don't), but then I noticed Jack Frost was in the background. The anime is fifty episodes long, and has a three-volume manga series, and a fifty-two episode aequel series, called Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children: Light and Dark. Has anyone else heard of or seen this series?

I watched 10 minutes of it at one point. It wasn't my cup of tea, but I generally don't watch a lot of anime anyway. It didn't have very good animation quality, and the overall look was pretty oldschool. If you like that sorta stuff (or don't mind it), then I'd say by all means check it out.

Oni-Kagura I've never seen it, but I've heard that it's horrible. confused Same here, but I thought that was for an OVA released a while back. But I haven't found it at the ANN encyclopedia, so it could be this series.

i have both on my media hard drive..... neither is all that impresive, but the second is more tolerable than the first

A friend of mine has been looking for the Devil Children anime for ages to no avail. Apparently there's a Persona 3 anime in the works as well?

From what I saw of it it was new characters and took place some years later after the game. I'm not sure what I think of it personally.
Thinking about it, I also recall something about a live action movie but that didn't appear to have much to do with the game itself either.
