im not bashing of anything but i really want to know. i dont like this pairing becuase well...first i dont like sasuke that much and second naruto is to...good for him. *cough*gaanarufan*cough* but i like to give everything a try so could you tell me something or post some art here so maybe MAYBE i will like it?

actually Kishimoto-sama has dropped hints of them falling for each other through out the intire series. you just have to keep and eye out for them.

Most likely it's because they are a popular pairing. I'm more for Gaara and Naruto umpin uglies. And my favorite pairing that is only ment to end in tragedy would be Kabuto and Orochimaru...

Sasunaru annoys me only because there is so much of it. If I could have Naruto with anyone it would be Kisame. Why somone asks? This is why: Kisame + Naruto = Psychotic Cuteness!!!!

Im more into naru garra. (speaking of which can someone send me any narugarra doujins if you find any?) but I have a couple of reasons why people usually prefer sasunaru.
1. because sasuke appeared about 20 episodes before garra did and when garra did appear there wasn’t a lot of moments that would lead you to believe they're going to be together. The first real thing that would lead you to believe they would be a couple is when naruto says how he knows what its like to be feared and hated for having a demon and can relate to him but anyways by the time garra appeared and started to like naruto more yaoi fangirls were already obsessed with sasunaru and there wasn’t enough narugarra moments to change their minds.
2. The kiss in the third episode. A bunch of sasunaru fans will always say they did it on purpose but deep down I think we all know it was by accident but that’s still something that would greatly encourage naruto yaoi fans to favorite sasunaru
3. Amount of time each one spends with each other. For starters sasuke is on the same team as naruto and in the early episodes spent a lot of time together doing missions while garra lives in a completely different village. garra appears once and a while for a few episodes then leaves and rarely mentioned after that while sasuke is either talked about or appeared in just about every nonfiller episode after he first appeared in episode 3.
4. The length Naruto went to get sasuke back to the good side and after Sasuke beat him he spared Naruto’s life and didn’t kill him. What a lot people didn’t know at the time the episode came out was that in the shippuden episodes Naruto went about the same length to get garra back from the akatsuki and garra started to really care about naruto more and want to be more like him and loved.
But even with all these I still love garra naru more and believe they're a better pairing and that naruto's really the only one that can be with garra because garra was saying how he wants people to care about him and how he wants to be more like naruto and loved and Narutos the only one that could understand him and care about him enough to love him likes he deserves. That and SasuNaru just wouldn’t work. In the early episodes maybe but once Sasuke left and chose power and revenge over naruto and friends. It was obvious that it was over between them even though Naruto didn’t want it to happen and tried to hunt him down. besides sasuke didn’t appreciate Naruto enough anyways. I think more people will like Naru Garra once more people get into the later episodes
