Storyline.
Since ancient times, the world has been drawn into harsh wars and intolerable violence. Millions of warriors had died bravely in battle, and in return the all-powerful god Odin had sent his Valkyries to bring those brave soldiers to Valhalla, in the Realm of the Gods. These spirits trained for thousands of years to get ready for the epic battle of Ragnörak, when all beings would fight to the death and the world of Midgard would be cast into oblivion.
Hel, the Goddess of death, has been plotting precariously in her domain. All inhabitants of the underworld stand wickedly at her side, cold-hearted demons and wreckless souls that are just dying to wreak havoc upon the land.
As for the humans of Midgard? They are forced to watch as both sides plan for the monstrous battle. Defenseless as they are, some still are pulling together to find a way to stop this fighting. While others choose a side to fight for. [1] Storyline. [2] Plot. [3] Rules. [4] Location Information. [5] Character Information. [6] Character Application Form. [7] Accepted Applications. Rules. [1] Follow Gaia TOS - Yeah, yeah. Everybody's heard it before. Just follow it and I won't go insane =] [2] No Cybering - It's pretty disgusting and no one here wants to see it, alright? Good. [3] No God-Modding or Auto-Killing - Yes, this sounds a bit stupid in a roleplay about gods and such, but even gods have their weaknesses. Give others the chance to defend themselves and get a shot in, too. No killing another person's character without asking them and myself first. [4] BE LITERATE - Yes this is a literate guild, but boy oh boy does it drive me crazy. Please at least three sentences. I know people get writer's block at times, but not all of the time! [5] PM Me Your Character Application - Yes, some people won't make it in, but there's alot of room in here so you have a good chance. [6] Follow These Rules - Those who I catch breaking them is in for some serious s**t XD [7] Have fun - Yep! Respect everyone and have a good time. Be creative ;D

Location Information. Asgard.
Asgard is the Realm of the Gods. Commonly known as Heaven. Asgard is surrounded by a great wall to protect it from the Jotun. In the center of Asgard is a great plain called Idavoll.
Valhalla.
Valhalla is Odin's hall located in Asgard, and is the home for those slain gloriously in battle, or the Fallen, who are escorted to Valhalla by the valkyries. The main gate is called Valgrind and the hall itself has five hundred and forty doors, so wide that eight hundred warriors could walk through side-by-side. It is said that there is room enough for all those chosen. Here, every day, the slain warriors who will assist Odin in the Ragnarök arm themselves for battle and ride forth by the thousands to engage in mock combat on the plains of Idavoll.
Hel.
The Realm of Hel is a place dwelled by the ghosts of those who have died of disease or in old age. Hel is also home to dishonourable people who have done much wrong in their lifetime. Hel is cold and frightening. It is said to be a hall with a roof woven from the spines of serpents which drip poison down onto those who wade in the rivers of blood below. The doors of the hall are said to be set in the south, away from Asgard which lies to the north. The hall is surrounded by a river called Gjoll, which is freezing cold and has knives flowing in it.The only way across the river is over a bridge guarded by the giantess Modgud. If a living person steps on the bridge, it rings out as if a thousand men walk across it, yet the dead pass without a sound.
Midgard.
Midguard is the mortal realm. All of Earth exists in Midgard, and it it is where the humans dwell. Midgard is a land surrounded by impassible ocean and water. Mountains surround the North and South, forests spread wide over the region. A great plain in the center of the land, called Vigriar, is where the last battle will occur and all of Midgard and life on it will sink into the sea. The plain of Vigriar is also where the most populated city, Mannheim, exists. [1] Storyline. [2] Plot. [3] Rules. [4] Location Information. [5] Character Information. [6] Character Application Form. Accepted Applications. The Deities.
Gaia Name: Skunk Blossoms Name: Hel Age: Thousands of Eons Sex: Female Appearance: Hel Side: Hel’s Forces Race: Deity Location: Hel, the Underworld. Personality: Hel is very vile and mean. She is very short-tempered and bossy, having outrageous fits of anger daily. She’s very sadistic, and when she wants something, she’ll make it known that she will have it, or somebody will end up in a world of hurt. She hates the politeness of others, and thinks it is foolish and a waste of time. She sees humans as pitiful creatures, no use of them until they’re dead and in her control. History: Born as the daughter of Loki, Hel was cast by Odin to the realm of the Underworld. This made her despise Odin and the other gods, but also gave her control over the inhabitants of the realm. Being the demanding person she is, she had been plotting revenge of Odin and the others for ceturies, finally arranging the perfect plan. Since the epic battle of the Ragnörak was destined to happen, there would be no better chance to kill Odin. Her plan was perfect, and with her powers and the devilish inhabitants of Hel, she was more than sure she could take Odin down. Weapons: A dark sword made with the spine of a serpent. This makes it poisonous to her prey. There is a glowing purple gem on the hilt. Abilities: She has the ability to control mortal deaths, but with Odin governing her ability, she doesn’t have much power. She has the ability to seduce any being, and she can also shift her form into a crow with red eyes. Anything Else: She has a very strange relationship with her father, Loki, sometimes she even despises him as much as she despises Odin.
Gaia Name: HELLANiiCE Name: Freya Age: Unknown Sex: Female Appearance: Freya Side: Neutral Race: Deity Location: Asgard Personality: Very kind and polite, also very helpful and caring. She enjoys seeing people happy and in love, she enjoys watching the people of Midgard because she made their land so beauteous and their lives full of joy. She seldom argues unless it is about the opposition of the Ragnarok because she doesn't want to see her hard work go to waste. History: A god Niord bore a daughter and named her Freya. She has one brother, Freyr, who is known as a fertility god. Her people see her as the goddess of fertility, love, beauty, and attraction. She is married to Od and they have one daughter, Hnoss, who she loves dearly. Freya is mostly seen riding throughout the skies on a black cat drawn chariot. Once when she was riding, her cats became possessed by the devil and changed suddenly to large black stallions. She enjoys being with various sexual partners, in fact she even received the necklace she is most famous for from four of her sexual partners. She was given the Brisinga-men's necklace from four dwarves that she had slept with; it is made of gold and amber and the reflection of the sun on it can be seen from thousands of miles away. Some people see her as the goddess of lust as well, because through out her lifetime she has had a lot of sexual partners, and believes strongly in sexual freedom. Weapons: -A cloak made of hawk and robin's feathers. This allows her to fly between the world of the gods and humans. -Hildisvini is her battle-swine which she is seen riding often which is a protective talisman of war. Abilities: Freya is able to "toy with peoples emotions". She specializes in that of love and lust. She is also practically irresistible to men, although that is hardly an ability. Anything Else: She is the most popular goddess of the people of Midgard, for her kind nature and making their land beautiful.
Gaia Name: Skunk Blossoms Name: Odin. Age: Thousands and thousands of years. Sex: Male Appearance: Odin Odin is a man of great age. His hair is white, along with his beard, which reaches just before his stomach. He has one eye, due to him sacrificing his left eye to gain the Wisdom of the Ages. He is tall and masculine, having great strength. His face shows kindness, courage, and fairness, while his eyes are full of wisdom. Side: Odin's Forces. Race: Deity. Location: Asgard. Personality: Odin is kind and fair, thinking of others before himself. He is loyal to Asgard and the other gods, protecting the heavens with all he has. He's very inspiring and wise, you can tell this by looking at his face. The only time he gets angry is when someone betrays him. Although he is wise and kind, doesn’t mean that he’s weak. He’s very strong and powerful, not someone you’d want as your enemy. History: Through his years Odin has gained respect from all of his fellow gods, and is known as the ‘leader’ of the deities. He is married to Freya, but does not keep to her, knowing that she is the goddess of lust he can’t tie her up. On one of his great journeys, he traded his left eye for a drink from the Well of Wisdom, and gained immense knowledge. The Jotun had been enemies of the gods for centuries, so when Odin’s blood brother Loki had fathered children with a giantess, Odin and the other deities saw it as the ultimate betrayal. Loki went off to become the leader of the Jotun, returning only to cause trouble here and there. Due to the betrayal of Loki, he sent his daughter Hel to rule the underworld, fearing she would cause just as much mischief as her father. As a result, Odin now carries the burden of Hel’s grudge, knowing that one day she would try to get him back. Until then, he has been watching over his Einherjar, inspiring them to use skill and strategy in battle, as well as having the courage that they need to succeed. Weapons: He carries a Javelin named Gungnir that, if thrown down to Earth, can cause war to breakout. Abilities: He has the power to inspire men and create war. He has the Wisdom of the Ages. Anything Else: He has two ravens, Hugin who carries his thoughts, and Munin who holds his memory. He also has two wolf companions, Geri and Freki who serve as his eyes in the Human world, and also help him in battle.
The Valkyries.
Gaia Name: ChibiMizzy Name: Gudrun Age: Unknown Sex: Female Appearance: Gudrun Side: Neutral Race: Valkyrie Location: In Midgard. (but can travel to Asgard) Personality: A bit bitter at times, but not overall mean. She can sometimes come off as cold, but she is merely blunt and doesn't like to beat around the bush. When it comes to children, however, they are her soft spot. History: She no longer places her trust in Odin, but will not go against his word. She might have been poisoned by Loki's words, but that is unclear. It could be the fact that she hates to see children die needlessly but she can do nothing about it, as that is not her task. Or it could be the fact that she desparately wants a child of her own and is incapable of doing so. Weapons: Longsword, with a phoenix-shaped guard. Abilities: Creating fire-bursts from her hands, becoming insubstantial and unseen to the human eye, teleporting. Anything Else: She is currently looking for a mortal who will help give her what she wants: a child. It is unknown as to whether valkyries can produce children, but Gudrun is willing to give up everything to try.
The Fallen.
Gaia Name:Mortal Being Name:Styrbjörn Age:38 Sex:Male Appearance: He's all muscle, and hair. His long beard stretches well into the midst of his chest. Ragged brown hairs scatter across his face as his worn and stern face looks out into the world. He is a behemoth of a man, making him clearly the brawns of any group. Side: Odin's Forces Race: Fallen Location: Valhalla Personality: He's your basic lummox of a warrior. He sticks to his choices and is very rash and crude on it. Sometimes, actually all the time, it leads to his downfall. He seems kind of dense to most people as how he does not always get the silly and witty humor of most. If he hears sarcasm he treats it as the real deal, and is usually led to fight over something that was needless. He also lacks human etiquette. History: He was born to a powerful family of warriors. He trained all of the time devoting it solely to the blade. However because of this, he did not always pay attention to other necessities in life and war, like tactics. On the battlefield he is more, lets have a glorious fight, than 'let us win'. He definitely believes in might over smarts. Yet that was his downfall. In one epic battle, he fought bravely as he was outnumbered. Man after man met his blade, and faded away, but their trap was too strong, and cut him off from rest of his army. With him completely surrounded, even his strength could not keep him alive for long, yet he fought valiantly. Every thud of the sword echoed loud into his ears, and he feasted upon the fears he forced into the men's heart as he would not give up. No, not even when he was cut across his whole body, he would not give up. The ringing of the swords continued to make their calls, bringing the Valkyries down onto the Earth. It was that day, when he died with so much gallantry, that they took him to Valhalla, where he is to this day. Weapons: A strong battle axe, and a few good long swords. Although it is not a weapon, he wears studded bronze armor that seems to shine in the sun of a golden copper tone. Abilities: In Valhalla, he can live forever, but when he goes back into the fights, he can still die a mortals death. His only greater strength is that he has unlimited stamina, and only a bit stronger than he was when he was human. A big problem is that since he died, his fate is tied to Odin, meaning he knows not to stir the man to anger. He follows him like a servant to a master, but truthfully, he doesn't mind. Anything Else: He likes long walks on the beach, followed by a nice little battle, and plenty of raiding and pillaging.
Gaia Name: Zeo Hiroboshi Name: Geirr Age: 35 Sex: Male Appearance: Like most Vikings, Geirr is a sheer mountain of muscle, though unlike the others there is a strange feeling of weakness glistening in his eyes. His expressions and motions indicate that he is not a man of battle and his sniveling, pathetic voice is enough to irritate even the weakest of braves. His beard is plops firmly across his barrel-like chest and his hair flows wherever it wills to go. But unlike most people of the Norse, he keeps himself loosely clothed and wears nothing more than his clothe and boots. Some say that he used to live a far bit more north than where the vikings are 'today'. Side: Odin's Forces Race: Fallen Location: Valhalla Personality: Geirr is a sniveling coward who, by some chance, has accumulated enough dignity to be taken into the gates of Valhalla. It is said though, that he is a fierce fighter and that his skills are very unorthodox, but effective. It is because of this, and only this, that he will be chosen for the battles ahead. Still... he is not to be trusted by friend and foe alike and his cowardice seems to get him in more trouble than he intends. History: Born into a family of merchants, Geirr was not meant for the life of a viking. His family was a humble one, only doing what was necessary to get by while keeping their youth well and fed. Sadly though, this form of lifestyle didn't suit well with the strength and vigor the world so called for, and as they sold off merchandise to a village of vikings, they were killed for their cowardice and ethics. This group raped and killed their daughter and almost killed the boy as well, but a rather portly set of elders in the village took him in, demanding that none harm the boy. He was raised by these kind folk and taught the way of the warrior, a path he never fully accepted. Still, through harsh efforts and threats on the verge of his failure, Geirr became a fine viking and a wonderful warrior. Serving in many wars and providing countless cries in defense of his nation, the cowardly boy grew and grew, rumors masking the truth of his true potential. It was said that his death was caused by the Valkyries themselves, but most say it was a hunting accident. The truth... well only he could say. Weapons: A pair of merchant knives are all he has left of his family, those are weapons he keeps strapped in his boots for safe keeping. His battle axe, they say, was better suited for chopping wood rather than chopping heads, but he made a fine token regardless if that was true or not. Abilities: Geirr has the amazing ability to wet himself at will. It is rumored that this has something to do with his true greatness, but none can really say. However, more importantly, he has strength greater than that of normal men, though more likely than not it is needed to operate that endless bladder of his.
Hel’s Forces.
Gaia Name: Beppo Name: Scarlet Age: Died at the age of 24, but has been in hell for a few thousand years. Sex: Female Appearance: Scarlet She has leathery wings that aide her in flight, and her dress falls to her ankles, though it flows and has a slit on one side so that she may move with ease. Her tail can normally be found to wrap around her waist making it look like a belt. Side: Hel's Forces Race: Demon Location: Hel, the Underworld. Personality: Scarlet is very much unconcerned with the feelings or problems of others. She will carry on conversation if she finds it necessary or if she is bored, but for the most part she keeps quiet and to herself. Thus her personality is a cold one, and no one would ever consider her a friend for they know that the only person she looks out for is herself. Though, she is not stupid and knows her place well in the underworld. She never crosses Hel and if anything is asked of her by the Goddess of the Underworld she obeys without question or hesitation. Her thoughts on the up coming war with the Gods pleases Scarlet, and whenever she thinks about it, her thin lips create the most sinister and sublime smile. History: Though her life was short lived for a mortals, Scarlet did enough evil to land her in the underworld and deprived herself of the pleasantries of the gods who lived in Asgard. Her life was full of killing, starting with her parents, when at the young age of sixteen she took their lives after they placed so many restraints that she felt trapped. When she was not convicted of the crime, Scarlet found that it empowered her, and whenever she couldn't get her way- which was rarely the case as she seduced many people into seeing things her way- she took their lives and then what she had been after. Her death came about suddenly, taken from her by another girl who found Scarlet in bed with the girls boyfriend. Scarlet had taken him by means of drugs and when the girl had found out she killed Scarlet while she slept peacefully. A death Scarlet is less then thrilled about, for she knows she could have lived longer, and more importantly she always hoped she's die a more... fascinating death. Weapons: Her weapons are simple for she only carries and fights with two sai's. The body is made from the bones of the dead, and the handles were crafted from serpent's skin, and the wings of demons who crossed her. Abilities: Scarlet uses her wings to fly.
Gaia Name: Romeo for Tay. Name: Lucien Henry. Age: Can never be sure. Sex: Male. Appearance: Lucien. Side: Hel's Forces. Race: Demon. Location: Hel. Personality: An arrogant fool; Lucien, to shorten his mind up in a nutshell, acts before he thinks. That can be a problem in a lot of cases, but every goddess can't always be stuck with pure wits and brains now, can she? The odd demon is full of his own made-up pride, but he isn't cocky. He flushes with the oppurtunity of battle, and lives for the moment of pure dignity. Yet, all and all, his soul is of pure loyalty, and although he may be bit ignorant, Lucien is a realiable, almost dependable creature. It just depends on what appears more interesting to his mind first, which is usually before the thinking come along. A definite one-track mind. History: If the people he knew in the mortal world were to look down on him now, they would be more than dissapointed: it would be pure anger and hatred. Before, when the young Lucien Henry lived among the lovable mortals, the short-lived beings and their pure world, it was like an angel had been born to his parents. Or, at least, to his father. The two had already bore a young girl, but the man declared a son to live up his name and long ancestrol family. He was named Lucien Henry, after his father, Liebe Henry, and all of their odd names following behind them. Through his childhood years on the Henry's busy, money-making farm, he was raised a well child, with whatever he wanted, all the attention he seeked, but with jealous eyes always following. His sister had resented him ever since he was born, but why should he have cared? He had everything. Well, it was until his sister wished he were dead one day that he wondered why he actually lived. It was an odd thought that crossed his mind, as his parents babied and washed his face carefully from his sister's slap to the face after accidentally spilling her bucket of goat milk. The thought of how important it really was to live, as a doll to a pathetic ancestory. He desired for the love of his sister, but his parents had ruined all hope of that by spoiling him. He resented them like his sister did he. And he killed them while laughing; which was, that one night, his sister gave him a different look: one of fear. He became angry and sad, knowing he had given up all chances, and ran away, growing up in his teenage years as a cocky, selfish, and cruel being. He was dirty and growing, always having to steal, until so many years later, he ran into his sister again. And he thought about the life he had lived, the sadness he had caused her, and how selfish his actions had been compared to his parents. And for that, he killed himself as she stared at him once again in horror, the same eyes in the adult that she had as a child. Suicide is a sin, and for throwing his life away, Hel's Underworld accepted him with open arms. Weapons: Lucien has a love for, well, jumping into the air hitting with a medium-sized lance. On the end of it are two iron blades; one smaller, curving into a half circle into a much larger. In the wood, encircled by beads he boredly collects off of people's shredded clothing, is engraved his sister's name, Leah Henry. Abilities: Lucien gave up on small powers long ago, leaving such strength to Hel and other gods and goddesses. He prefers to use his own quick battle techniques, always believing in his own strength and not something from inside of him or out. Anything Else: Lucien was around the age of Twenty-one when he died, but forgets it here and there with how long he's been stuck in Hel's Underworld.
The Humans.
Gaia Name: Metal-Ridley Name: Falkor Gulbrandr Age: 27 Sex: Male Appearance: [Falkor Gulbrandr] What you see on this image is all armor; even the more demonic parts. There is only a human under the armor Deception, no mutated body parts or anything. The long red hair is also fake, it's just to make him look even more of a demon when wearing the armor. ((I know it's Nightmare, I'm just this non-original for character appearances.)) Side: Neutral Race: Human Location: Midgard Personality: Falkor is a straight-forward person; he always speaks his mind. Falkor doesn't hold back on his word, he says what he thinks is the truth even if the words are harsh; which is usually the case. Actually, Falkor is usually harsh himself, showing that he doesn't care about people or thinks they're pathetic; though he does somehow care for others. History: Falkor was born in a family of strong and brave knights. His ancestors have always been respected knights, and even generals. His father was actually captain of his knighthood. When a young boy, Falkor was being trained by his grandfather, a retired knight of course, into the way of knights. He learned to weild multiple weapons, though later found a better liking in two-handed swords. Falkor joined the knighthood like the previous men of the family had, though quit after a few years, which brought much disappointment to his father. Old enough to make decisions on his own, Falkor left his home and town to travel Midgard, without any particular goal in mind but to survive and know more about the world. One day in a town, the young Falkor helped a blacksmith to get rid of thieves who threatened to kill his wife and daughter if he didn't give them what they wanted. Fighting and defeating the thieves, the blacksmith forged a special and unique armor and sword for Falkor, one with the design Falkor wished to have. The blacksmith gave Falkor the armor and sword for free; the swordsman is still using the sword he named Shame, and wearing the armor he named Deception. Weapons: Falkor carries around a giant sword he named Shame, which is only metallic. The flesh designs and eye on the sword are fake. Abilities: Falkor is an exceptional swordsman, perfectly manipulates his sword. Since he has trained forever, and still does, he has strength and endurance that is above human standards, though not making him a superhuman. Anything Else: Even if he often looks angry or annoyed, Falkor does have his quiet and relaxed times.
Gaia Name: Romeo for Tay Name: Idun Schetzva Age: 24 Sex: Female Appearance: Idun is your average young woman placed among the world; an average heighted creature, about 5'4" and growing no more. She has fair skin, on the edge of pale and tanned, with dark brown eyes. Her hair is cut off around her shoulders, a black, rough texture that she clips back with whatever she can find. As for clothing, she wears a simple, plain outfit; a white blouse under a brown vest, a pair of old worn cream-colored pants, and a simple pair of brown lace boots. She also wears a hat that folds around the edges. Side: Neutral Race: Human Location: Midgard Personality: Keeping to herself, Idun is the type of woman that gives off the air of, 'I want to be alone.' It's not that she wants to, but most of the time she doesn't have much to say anyway, so she doesn't speak out rude, pointless, or small conversation. Odd looks may come her way, but Idun doesn't care what people think about her. She's a hard woman inside, one who's strong in her beliefs and won't give in to indifference. History: Idun was born and raised a fisherman's daughter. Midgard, being so near to open wide and surging ocean, her father took on the trade for money. She has many brother's and sisters, she beingthe second-to-youngest among them. her mother was hard and stern, but caring at the most when she could. Raising a lot of kids put a lot of stress on her, so Idun learned to stick to herself to keep herself out of trouble. Her father wouuld always come home with fish for his business and family, but one time, when he went out, he never came back. By this time her two oldest siblings, brother and sister, were old enough with their own jobs, but her mother grew sad. She sent off her oldest children, leaving her with the three youngest. Idun's mother became even more harsh, and when the young woman became of age, she too left, her youngest brother the only one left. She took a job as a tailor to an old man and woman. Three years of warming service, she then got a visit one day, from someone very familiar; it was her youngest brother who had come to find her. They sat and talked for a long time, until he started acting weird, and then, when the old couple went out and left the shop in her hands, someone had broke into the Tailoring Business, stealing clothes, materials, even change. She was devastated as well as her brother, and when he went after the culprit, he never returned. He had said he and her mother were always together, always going through hard times, and Idun had to wonder if it was their little heist to brake into the shop. Idun was always the vunerable, always the shy, so they used their poor and mournful status and used her. She was angry, and told the truth on what happened to the old couple, and they forgave her. She promised she would continue to work until all stolen items wee paid off. But, she enjoys working there, only she is more sly and watchful as ever for people like her brother and mother. Weapons: Idun doesn't believe in weapons. She tries to keep herself out of trouble and away from the world, supplying clothes to charity for the dieing world because of the fighting forces among the deities so many rumours speak of. But, just in case, she does keep a small dagger in her boot, where no one can see it. Anything Else: At first, idun may seem like a shy, vunerable woman, but she can be very honest and outgoing. One cannot be fooled by first appearance.

Gudrun ran her fingers through her short light purple hair, the tiny white wings on her golden headband twitching a bit in the wind. It was a crisp day, but the sky was dark with a few clouds, as she stood on the roof of one of the city buildings. She always enjoyed coming down to Midgard, to feel what the people felt, even if they couldn't see her. Goosebumps ran up her arms as another breeze danced past her. If only she could have remained here instead of doing her master's bidding. It was a seemingly morbid occupation which only furthered his plans; she reaped no benefits...except for not suffering his possible wrath, of course.

Scarlet was sitting on a black rock high above much of the underworld looking down at the dead carrying on with their preparations. The dark, rank, desolate and pain-filled home had taken on a new more lively appearance as the war with the gods drew ever nearer. The Giants were preparing and training with one another, some of the dead were learning how to fight from those who had learned in a past life; by Hel's orders. Scarlet herself had learned to fight from one such person, and now, part of their wings resided in the handle of her sai after they had tried to make her theirs. Scarlet was not one to be bargained with or to be taken lightly, something she had thought they had learned, and yet, when the collar was handed to her, it was apparent they did not know her at all. Slaves were being created all over the underworld, those with power used it, though it was mostly a back deal thing. Scarlet yawned and looked up, not that there was anything of interest to see, just, black, dark black nothing. She closed her eyes and pretended that she could see the moon in the sky casting it's light over the city. She smiled, blood looked so beautiful in the light of the full moon.

The dinning hall stretched large and wide as Styrbjörn plopped his legs on top of one of the tables. Instead of eating the food on top of the might oak surface, he decided to place his feet there, and the golden plated bowl on top of his lap. He eat the meat that was within it, using his hands to bring the food up to his mouth, and ripping away to the bone and marrow, every so often a snapping sound could be heard as the sinew filled the air. A glimmer of light flashed in his eyes as he saw the sweet nectar of the gods resting on the table. Yes, his beer.
Quickly he picked up the golden brown concoction, and took a nice long swig of it, some of the foam dribbled down into his beard where some of the meat he was eating was currently being stored. It seemed, the beer too would be stored there for another day, one that would probably never come. Every sip of the beer flourished within him, making he smile in delight, and produce a rather loud belch that echoed within the bounds of the dinning room.
With both mug and food in hand, he interchanged them repeatedly as he heard the voice of a fellow warrior chat about his long and hard tales. Styrbjörn could only rejoice when it would be his turn to share his own epics of adventures. Indeed, being a true warrior in Valhalla, made for a nice evening of chattering and banter. A pleasant day indeed. Still he could not help but wish for more battle to feel his veins, perhaps... one would come again. Maybe sooner than he would think.

Psh, psh. Over and over again. It was the most irritating thing in the world, and he wanted to kill it, to rip it apart, cut it to shreds, even give it a different colour just to make it angry... if hair got angry, that is. Lucien sat on a high stone wall, his legs dangling lazily below. behind him, his arms held him up so he wouldn't fall, but goodness, the wind in this area sure was strong enough to make him want to! And with such long hair, constantly getting in his face, poor Lucien couldn't take it anymore. Why he never cut his hair is something he will never know, but why he stays in such a windy area is. Waiting for something to come by, at anytime, to give him something to do, so he wouldn't have to sit in an endless, stopped time in an endless kingdom under an endless deity, it seemed. Psh. He blew his bangs out of his face again, but the sleek, untangled, almost bedazzling hair just fell over his eyes again, and around his shoulders, neck, back and waste.
It was everywhere! Lucien jumped down from the wall, pulling on his hair as he started down the walkway through the underworld. his eyes curiously fell upon a ripped string in the road, and he grinned with an evil little laugh, picking it up and immediately taking in as much hair as he could to tie back. Satisfied and accomplished, he began his way down again, the spear tied around his back loosely hitting against his back the whole way. Why, maybe this day would turn out for the best, as long as his hair stayed up like a girl's. But who cared about how girlish you looked as a young man when you had such strength all the mortals and others didn't when manly looking? Lucien could only grin at the prospect. And with Hel getting her way with starting battles, it was only time for his excited actions to go to use.
He stopped in the middle of the walkway of the Underworld, under the lit moonlight. Lucien pulled the spear from behind his back, standing it up on the ground and holding it between two fingers. near the spearhead was engraved the name Leah Henry, the name of his dear sister. Why, it's about the only thing he could remember straight these days; sometimes he would remember why she was on his spear, but right now wasn't one of those. That name, though, was the only thing that kept his heart still intact with himself.
If it weren't for her, he might as well be a brainless demon running around like an imp. Lucien didn't like the sound of that, though. Of course, who knows what the future would turn him into, living in the underworld. Or the upcoming battles for all he knew.
