Rapier was controlling a lot of children today, it seemed. Tyven was off somewhere but she had Cleo (and Cleos ******** dragon, Shilling), the unicorn boy Cleo had made nice with (and HIS ******** dragon...whatever its name was) and her sisters little female, Emi. Luckily, Emi had no dragon... yet. The swan girl was surprisingly calm and Rapier didn't mind watching her so much.

She was still waiting for the boy to show up, though. Part of her dreaded it and yet the other half knew her daughter had to socialize more. Cleo was spending far too much in her room, alone with her dragon. The goldcrest girl was in a fluffy yellow skirt and a a fitted, short sleeved white shirt, her hair up in pigtails once more and the dragon running around the front yard.

It was a hyper little gold thing. Cleo, herself, wasn't sure what to make of it. The girl was bouncing in her socks, chasing after the golden dragon in an elaborate game of tag. Shilling was winning.

The swan girl was inside in her tights, small frame going over ritualistic dance steps. Rapier, who was sitting on the couch looking through a book, didn't see her stop once as she bent or twisted or moved her feet into a certain, precise gestures. Her hair was bound up with just a few curls springing free and her movements were effortlessly graceful.

How Dagger could raise someone as delicate as the swan was a mystery. She sighed, relaxing against the couch as Emi continued to practice. Outside, she could hear Cleo's voice.

"Can see someone comin', Mam!"

((OOC: Cleo is being played as a preteen with a dragon as permission has been given. <3))

Tovar had somewhere to be and he was going to be late if he didn't get Etain dropped off soon and then scuttle back home. -At least, that's all Etain could figure out cause he was currently getting tugged along at a fairly good clip, his hand clasped tightly in his father's hand and his legs pumping to keep up. Watson was waddling along behind them at a decent pace, though was falling significantly farther and farther behind. Etain shot the Gold an uneasy backward glance, chewing slightly on his lower lip.

She was getting fat - probably eating small passerby children when he wasn't looking. He could be next!

Etain quickly looked ahead to where they were going, spotting Cleo in the yard almost instantaneously. He raised his hand to wave, managing to extract the other from Tovar's grip and separate off to greet Cleo. Tovar shrugged and continued to the front door, intent on finding a parental unit to inform that they'd arrived, etc., and so forth.

Sliding up near where Cleo and her dragon (the latter of which he gave a wide, wide, WIDE, berth), hands stuffed in his pockets, the pre-teen unicorn cleared his throat with a loud 'ah-hum!' and shuffled from one foot to the other semi-expectantly. "Hi!"

Cleo was ready and waiting for the unicorn boy. Etain was granted a wide smile, both of Cleos small hands going to her hips as she greeted him. "Hi!" He was cute and looked innocent enough. Cleo twisted, yelling back into the house. "HEEEEEEY. EMI! Get out 'ere!"

The swan halted in her movement, face a bit red from her exertion. She glanced to Rapier and there was shyness in her face. Before Cleo could yell again, Emi smoothed over her leotard and took a hesitant step outside. At least it was warm out.

Cleo flounced over and grabbed her cousins wrist, pulling her foreward. "Etain, right? Etain, this is m'cousin Emi. Emi, this is Etain. He's pretty. An' tha's Shilling, Etain. He's... Uhm. Tackling your dragon."

Indeed. Shilling had seen the other dragon in the distance and, well, he was a friendly little bugger. He sped off and pounced at the other wrymling, fully intending to land on and gnaw affectionately. NEW FRIEND!

Etain's fingers bored deeper into the pockets of his jumpsuit which was, currently, had the top half flopping about his waist because it was too hot to really wear properly, instead substituted with a plain light blue t-shirt. He glanced between Cleo and the door where after a moment the feathered girl - Emi, from the sound of it - emerged.

He scuffed the heels of his tennis shoes a little shyly in the yard's lawn. "Y-yeah, Etain. That's right; it's nice'ta meet you," he chirped, raising a hand in a shy wave to Emi. He glanced over his shoulder, clearly intending to introduce his own dragon: "That's Wa--aaah!"

Said dragon (whose name was in fact 'Watson' and not any derivative thereof) didn't look at all pleased with her current situation. Hot, overweight, and a little annoyed at having to walk along behind Tovar and Etain for at LEAST a mile, she was in no mood to be TACKLED by a stranger, fellow gold or no. Squawking in a distinctly undignified manner, Watson kicked out with her hind legs as she was tackled, flinging Shilling over her head and rolling to follow, growling and spitting dragon-obscenities, no doubt.

"Etain." Emi said back, still rather softly as her cousins presence basically demanded she edged further out. Nervous fingers tugged at her clothing, face still a slight pink as her wings folded tight against her back, moving closer to the unicorn and Cleo. "...is... Is that French?"

A small offer of friendship from her to him. The swan was a bit wary of strangers, heck of many boys and overdominating females, but he seemed nice. Cleo liked him.

The gold crest in question had whipped around in time to see her puppy-minded gold dive tackle Etains gold (who did not appear to be in the same mindset of him - did that mean Shilling was just stupid?) and be flipped like a wrestler. Etain was sqwauking and something had to be done. She heaved a sigh and stomped over - flouncing, really - giving her Shilling a rather evil eye.

Not that Shilling noticed in the least. He was flipped and landed with a sturdy "OOMF' on the ground, whiskers askew and it took a few seconds for him to right himself. Another bounce, closer to the growling, snarling female, his tail wagging almost like a dogs at play. His noises were full of curiousity and ...well, he was pleased. New friend! And she was shiny, like him.

"Shilling!" His human snapped, only making him churr again, bouncing in place as Cleo approached. "You just don't tackle people like that! You're a DRAGON, not a housepet!"

To prove that theory wrong, he headbutted her side, making small noises and twining around her like a cat. Cleo whined and cast a glance back to Watson, Etain and Emi. "...he doesn't mean to be stupid. He just is."

French? "Iunno," Etain answered absently, keeping an eye on the two dragons as Cleo waded into the mess of gold scales to separate them (oh man, was she insane?!). "It's just m'name."

Watson had begun to back up from the other gold, her stumpy legs propelling her backwards. She definitely looked wary: head down, neck stretched out like she was waiting to chew on Shilling if he got too close. She was definitely winding her way carefully back to where Etain and Emi were standing, probably some kind of unconscious protective motion - get between this crazy dragon and her human counterpart.

Not that Etain was having any of it. If anything, he shuffled a few feet out of the way and eyed her crookedly like a boy who'd gotten a giant puppy and didn't quite trust it not to bite him yet.

"It's okay," Etain assured Cleo nervously. "Watson's kind of lazy, so..." He shifted, evasive, and glanced back at Emi. "--What're you wearing?" That certainly didn't look like the kind of thing he'd seen any other kid wearing.

His. Shilling would be highly insulted (before licking her face) if he thought the other gold saw him anything but male. He was glittery and bouncy! Didn't that just ring masculinity? He wuffed around his female, bounding after Watson in a sort of puppy glee. Hihi~? His mental capacity was fine. He could sort of communicate. The words were jumbled and everywhere and not very concentrated on anything.

His hyper happyness was not an act, like Cleos. The goldcrest grumbled, following along. "Sorry... Wa... Dragon thing. Watson? Like Sherlock? Whatever. He's a butthead. He won't hurt you."

Emi was a bit distracted by the dragons, her brown eyes wide. She had seen Azucar and she had, of course, met and played with Shilling. Hostile and friendly - two different aspects of dragons.

But lazy? It just didn't occur to her that Dragons could have as many personalities as humans (Or D-Corp science experiments) did. Etains words pulled her out of her reverie, hesitating quietly. Well. She peered down at herself, at the leotard and legwarmers and lack of shoes. Her hair was still bound up. Not the ideal way to greet guests... Dagger would have scolded her.

She spoke up, either way. "A leotard." Tiny, tiny voice. Always tiny, except with Keivlos. She had to be louder with him or he'd never say anything. He was shy, she guessed. Needed a hug . "Uhm. ..Leg warmers. I was--"

"Emi dances. She was practicing inside." Cleo was louder and more bold then her cousin, patting Emis thin shoulders gently. "An' havin' lots of clothes in the way makes it hard."

Watson definitely had no intention to put up with the exuberant gold. She hissed a little and wiggled her tail with a decided note of irritaiton in the movement as she waddled into the nearest patch of comfortable looking, sunlit grass, grumbling rather incoherently ('Stupidmutterchewhistoesoffmuttermutter') and flopping down belly first. Etain gave her a nervous glance before quickly redirecting his attention to both girls. And the dragon. Always keeping an eye on the dragons - just in case.

"Dancin'," he parroted blankly, features set into determined lines. "I didn't know you gotta practice t'dance." Then again, he hadn't known that you should wear leotards and leg warmers either. Huh. There were lots of things Tovar didn't tell him, he guessed (because Tovar certainly knew everything). "What d'you dance? I can hokey pokey."

"Dancing." Emi agreed, her voice still rather shy. She shifted back and forth on her feet, wings fluttering nervously as she stared at the older boy. "It's ballet, though. Not just... Not. Uhm. I can show you?"

The offer had her cheeks a slight pink, hands rising up to rub gently at her cheeks. "I'm not very good yet... But I have videos inside? Of famous ballets. It's a lot prettier then what I can do."

"She's lyin', Etain." Cleo just grinned at the unicorn boy, giving his back a pat as well before she high-tailed it to Watson. The girl loved anything gold and a quiet, lazy dragon was just what she liked.

Shilling was too hyper for her. "You're shiny. Hi, Watson." Fingers went out to pet at the shiny little dragon, her eyes wide. Shilling whined at the lack of attention and wedged himself nearer to his girlie.

Miiiiiine. He whined mentally and vocally, nuzzling into Cleos shoulder. She ignored him

Etain blinked after Cleo, opened his mouth and looked back to Emi. "Sure," he said, shrugging both of his narrow shoulders and pushing his hands deeper into his pockets. "Y'can show me." Even as he said it, he was watching Cleo out of the peripheries of his vision.

Was she insane?!

Watson lifted her head to watch the little girl prance over, huffing a deep exasperated sigh. She flicked her tail and stretched so her belly got a little closer to the warm ground, her reptilian head weaving absently on the end of her long glittering neck as Cleo came close. Her nostrils flitted and puffed under the strange girl's fingers and after a moment, Watson's eyes drifted shut too. Mmmph, that wasn't too bad... Better than getting shrieked at anyway.

She opened an eye and looked straight at Etain, catching the unicorns eye. He made a faint squeaking noise behind his lips and sidestepped farther away.
